Blessings to the Rainbow Bridge for Simcha. 🌈🐾 Simcha started off as a foster kitten at our house from one of the animal shelters back in the summer of 2009. (Unfortunately, none of his baby pictures turned out too well. But rest assured, he was pretty cute!) He was adopted by a wonderful friend and cat nail trim client, Suzanne. He was loved beyond measure and had the best care. I was fortunate enough to be his nurse once he was diagnosed with kidney disease in August 2023. He wasn't always excited about getting his fluids, but I think he knew deep down that I was there to help. I am truly grateful that Suzanne has kept in touch with me over the years and invited me to be a part of his care. You're good boy, Simcha.

Both former foster cats of ours, Simcha and Sophie are lounging together while I administer Simcha’s subcutaneous fluids for kidney disease. He has been getting fluids for almost 2 1/2 years and has had his care well managed by his mom.

Beautiful Zoey had her monthly pedi pedi today! Isn’t she lovely? Her mom is always so surprised when I finish doing her nails because I’m able to get them done quickly while she gets to lick some yummy peanut butter! She always tells me that she’s never been this good for anyone for her nails.

Just heard my buddy Spencer crossed the Rainbow Bridge recently. Thinking of his kitty companion, Bert, and his human family. Spencer was a sweet and chatty boy and his stories will be missed.

Miss Lucy is a new in her home nail trim friend! Her mom adopted her after she landed in the humane society after a friend of hers died. She’s shy and takes a little time to warm up to people, but by the end of my visit, we were buddies! Her “mom” had Mister, the black cat I took care of that was going through kidney failure. It means so much when clients ask me to come meet their new family member!
