Okkkk 🥹 some bittersweet but also REALLY exciting news… starting in 2027, I’ll officially be saying goodbye to boarding. 💗
BUTTTT definitely not goodbye to working with dogs 😂 I’m pouring my heart, soul, time and an honestly concerning amount of money 😂 into Canine Behavior Consulting and working toward becoming a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) through IAABC. 🐾
And honestly… I blame all of YOUR dogs for this. 😂💗 Getting to actually LIVE with so many completely different dogs made me obsessed with the little things — their body language, fears, weird quirks, what makes them feel safe and the million tiny ways they communicate without saying a word.
And somewhere along the way, while I was busy learning from them, they were changing me too. 🥹 Some of your dogs have literally crawled onto my chest while I bawled my eyes out. I thought I was giving them a safe place to land… turns out they were giving me one too. 💗
ANDDDD you’ll actually get to follow along with some of this new chapter! One of our VERY frequent guests, Hamilton, sadly lost his brother this past year 🥹 but has since gained a new sister! During my training, she and I will be working together to help her settle into her new SCARY 😱👻 home 😂 (through HER eyes guys, I promise it’s actually a lovely home 😂).
Soooo boarding may be ending… but apparently all these dogs were just getting me started. 🐾💗
