Leo's Helping Paws Leo's Helping Paws provides Financial Assistance for Vet Care to Non-Profit Rescues in Pennsylvania a Along with Supplies like, towels, blankets.

Leo's Helping Paws Volunteers work Daily trying to assist Rescues as much as possible. We not only provide financial assistance but we have a "Food Bank" for Rescues as well. We also have additional items for the Dogs too. Toys, Treats, Beds, Leashes and more. All these items are available "FREE" to any Rescue. We hold Volunteer meetings once a month and if you would like to join our team, please send us a Message.

On July 16th, Leo’s Helping Paws will Celebrate 11 Years of Helping Dogs in Need. Our goal is to Raise $11,000 and we will be having several events to do that. One way is our Popular Lottery Drawing. This year you will have 4 Days to win some cash! Each Ticket is $10 and you will get 2 Numbers per ticket. The winner is determined by the Pa Lottery Pick 3 Evening Drawing. There are several ways to purchase your tickets.

We recently gave a Grant to Senior Dog Haven & Hospice, Inc. for the Vet Care of Six Year Old, “Raven”. This is Her Story…

: Raven came to us from ACCT Philly where she was surrendered after living her whole life in a crate and being bred. She had a massive infected lump on her side which we had removed and needed lots of care for ongoing skin infections. She was severely emaciated and required spay surgery and a dental. When she first arrived, she was very skinny and in poor condition, but thanks to lots of TLC, she's now a healthy 66 lbs and thriving. She's a total couch potato and a velcro dog who loves nothing more than snuggling up with her humans. Unfortunately, spending so much time in a crate most of her life, Raven developed some arthritis and recently tore her CCL in her knee. She will require surgery for a repair as dogs her size often tear the companion ligaments if left untreated. We would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. Her surgery is estimated to cost $5000-$5250 which includes a discount provided kindly by the surgeon. Thank you in advance for considering our request.

Most people don’t realize how much Vet care is provided before a Rescue can list a Dog for Adoption. Leo’s Helping Paws supported this Wonderful Rescue with a $2500 Grant for Raven.
