Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center The Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center is a community hub dedicated to reuniting lost animals. The shelter is open daily from 12:00 PM -6:00 PM.

Appointments are not required, however please note that we discontinue DOG visits at 5pm to allow time to dinner! We're very excited to announce we have RESUMED medical services! We offer low cost spay/neuter services for dogs & cats, trap neuter release and vaccine clinic. To learn more and schedule an appointment for the following services please email [email protected].

💜 Meet Vex 💜

At 6 years old, this sweet girl is ready to leave her past behind and finally find her true forever home. Vex was sadly dumped by her previous owner, but she hasn’t let that stop her from being a loving, wonderful companion.

Vex thrives on TLC and enjoys being with her people. She also likes other dogs and would be happy to have a canine buddy in her new home. 🐶 While she’s not sure how she feels about cats just yet, she’s willing to try with proper introductions.

She’s not only adorable — she’s an all-around amazing dog who would be the perfect addition to just about any family. 🏡🐾

This sweet little soul came to us as a stray and is now looking for a family who will give her the love and patience she deserves. 💕

Noelle can be a bit skittish when meeting new people, but once you’ve gained her trust, her silly and kind personality truly shines. She adores the company of other dogs, and having a canine companion in the home would help her feel more confident and at ease. 🐶

Because she needs a calm, understanding environment, we recommend that any children in the home are 13+ who can respect her boundaries and give her time to decompress.

Noelle may not be the life of the party right away, but she has so much potential and will make a loyal, loving companion to the right person or family. 🏡🐾

This sweet boy is as lovable as he is shy. Blurr may be a little nervous at first, but with some patience, love, and a few yummy treats, he’ll quickly show you just how affectionate he can be. 💕

Because he’s still learning to build confidence, Blurr would do best with respectful kiddos who can give him the space he needs to settle in. He may also enjoy having a calm, confident doggy sibling to show him the ropes — slow introductions, please! 🐶

We’re not sure how Blurr feels about cats just yet, but he’s open to trying. What he does know for sure is that he’s ready to find his forever family and become someone’s “certified good boy.” ✨

Meet Shelby 🐾 – a timid but oh-so-sweet girl looking for her forever family.

Shelby was sadly surrendered when her previous owner could no longer keep her. She’s lived with small children and been around other animals, but she takes time to let her guard down with new people. Once she feels safe, though, she truly blossoms and enjoys affection and TLC. 💛

Life in the shelter has been tough on Shelby – she’s really struggling with kennel stress, and we know she’ll thrive so much more in a loving home. She would benefit from having a confident doggy companion to help her feel secure and show her the ropes.

Because Shelby can be shy and sensitive, she’s looking for an experienced owner who can help her build confidence at her own pace. With patience and love, she’ll make the most loyal companion.
