**Anyone who does not show and does not contact me prior to their appointment time will be charged regardless of weather conditions.**

👋👋 WELCOME!

For those who are new here or just finding me, welcome! I’m so glad I’ve been recommended to you or maybe you’ve just stumbled upon my page.

I’m Stephanie Anderson, owner and groomer at Up North Grooming. I have been operating Up North Grooming since 2017 but have been in this profession since 2010! 🤯 I grew up on a farm near Hallock MN and have been an animal lover my entire life!

I started as a dog walker/bather for another groomer and within 2 years was doing most of the grooming for that shop. I continued to groom part-time through high school & college in a shop near Hallock, MN.

After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural Business, I held a few jobs in Office Management and Agricultural Finance while still grooming on evenings and weekends.

After getting married and having 2 children I came to the realization that grooming was either going to have to go or become my “full-time” gig and it has been the BEST DECISION EVER to take this on as my sole employment! 💛

I have been grooming in my home-based salon outside of Lancaster, MN since 2021.

I have some of the BEST clients and have so many dogs who have been coming to me for years- following me through 3 location changes, college, marriage, 2 maternity leaves and all that life has brought 🥹 it makes me a little teary eyed to think about sometimes.

I welcome all breeds and sizes. Services ranging from a simple nail trim to full haircuts and styling and everything in between! If you’re in the market for a groomer I’d love to chat to see if I could be a good fit for you and your dog 🫶

We’ve had a few heavier frosts this fall BUT the ticks are still very active! I have been finding many the past couple weeks! Make sure to keep your pups up to date with their preventative all the way through the year!

**RETAIL STORE UPDATE**

I will be making some changes to the retail side in 2026 and with that I am looking for move out my remaining feline items! I have a small selection remaining to move before the end of the year (at reduced prices)!
