Mason may be a little reserved at first, but once he warms up, he’s a loving, goofy boy who adores attention! He’s already gotten a head start on training and knows heel, sit, down, and shake.

With some headstrong Shepherd tendencies, Mason would thrive with an active, dog-experienced family who can offer patience, consistency, and plenty of praise. He tends to bond especially closely with one person—could that person be you?

Mason has done well meeting cats and other dogs. Meet-and-greets with resident dogs and family members are required, and he would do best with older children (middle school age and up).

Mason’s adoption fee is just $100 during his adoption special!

Give this sweet, smart boy a chance to show you his goofy side!

Wellness Wednesday: Let’s Talk Flea & Tick Prevention!

Fleas and ticks are more than a nuisance! Fleas can cause itching, skin irritation, and allergic reactions, while ticks can transmit serious diseases.

Consistent prevention helps protect your pet’s health and comfort, and helps keep fleas from making themselves at home in your house!

Fairfield Area Humane Society offers:
-Prescription flea and tick prevention through our low-cost veterinary clinic.
-Over-the-counter options available at the shelter.

Choose a product appropriate for your pet’s species, age, and weight, and always follow the label. Never use a dog-only product on a cat. Our veterinary team can help you choose an appropriate option.

Call today to schedule an appointment for prescription flea & tick prevention today, or stop in at the shelter. It's never too soon to start protecting your pets and your home.

Contact FAHS for pricing and availability. Let’s keep those tails wagging and paws comfortable!
