UPDATE ‼️“Chuy” has been adopted‼️
🐶🌟Adoption Spotlight🌟🐶

Meet “Chuy” he is a 5 year old Schnauzer terrier mix ❤️🐾

“Chuy” is ready to find his fur-ever home! The previous choice hold adoption just wasn’t the right fit for him. Although, he would be best suited for a calm home with an owner that is experienced in more possessive behavior. He forms strong bonds with his person and may need some guidance around bigger dogs. He’s more comfortable with women and would benefit from a patient adopter to help him build confidence around men. He enjoys attention and is not a huge fan of the leash (much rather be held).

If you are interested in meeting this little guy please call the shelter at (719) 336-8769 to discuss further! We are open Monday- Friday from 7am-4pm 🐾

‼️”Moose” got adopted ‼️
“Moose” recently had a behavior evaluation done by one of our local dog trainers and the report was that he is a very awesome boy! “Moose” is young and ready to learn (even though he already knows “sit” and “middle”). He just needs plenty of walks and brain engagement activities! Turns out he is not reactive towards other dogs he just really wants out when other dogs get near his kennel and definitely shows it 🐶❤️ His fee is only $30 and if you are interested in meeting this handsome boy call the shelter at (719) 336 8769.

‼️Pepper has been adopted‼️
❤️🐾Puppy available for adoption🐾❤️ ‼️First come first served basis applies, as always. If you would like to place a choice hold, please contact us directly via phone to arrange this, as holds cannot be made through Facebook.‼️

Meet “Pepper” 🐾
We have an adorable, female, 8-week-old Jack Russell terrier mix available for adoption, seeking her forever home. She was part of a small intake (of only 2 puppies) and has been spayed by one of our trusted local veterinarians who supports early spay/neuter for shelter population control. We did not place her in foster care, as our foster program is currently on hold for updates and to ensure all current foster dogs are fully vetted.

Important‼️
- This is not a foster-to-adopt situation.
All future care, including vaccinations and microchipping, will be the responsibility of the adopter. A vaccine card will be provided, detailing the due dates for these procedures.

“Pepper” was the “runt” of the litter and is more on the shy side, but breaks out of her shell quite easily. She is also ready to begin her life with a new loving family. If you are prepared to take on the responsibility of a puppy and provide a safe, happy home, please contact the shelter at 719-336-8769 for further discussion.

Her adoption fee is $50. 🐶🐾We are open Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm.

🌟🐶Adoption spotlight🐶🌟 ‼️He is available for adoption ‼️
Meet “Diesel” 🐾
This boy is a Red/Blue Heeler, approximately 4 years old. He is a huge ball of energy and loves all the attention. It is unknown how he is with young kids or adults, but he is great with the other dogs. He does need basic training in commands, but has gotten a lot better on the leash! Be aware he does inhale his food, so he would need a slow feeder bowl. With patience and dedication this boy would make an amazing companion 🐾❤️

If you are interested in adopting him please call the shelter at 719 336-8769 to discuss further. His adoption fee is $50 and we are open Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm

🌟🐶 Adoption Spotlight 🐶🌟

Meet “Chrome”
Chrome is a Male, Great Pyrenees, who is approximately 1 1/2 years old. He is house broken but needs some work on a leash for the fact that he is a bit timid. He would also be best fit in a single dog home with no cats or young kids. It took him a couple days to realize he was safe here and warmed up to us; now “Chrome”loves pets and attention. He is vocal as he growls and barks but he’s all talk; he’s never shown teeth or tried snapping towards us.

If you are interested in adopting him, the fee is $50 and you can contact the shelter at 719 336-8769, for further information. We are open Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm.

🐶🌟Adoption Spotlight🌟🐶 ‼️UPDATE “Odin” has been adopted!‼️

Meet “Odin”
Odin is a Male, 4 year old American Bully weighing approximately 72 lbs. He is a huge gentle giant and has never shown an ounce of aggression towards us or any other dogs ❤️. He sits and is kennel trained but he does tend to dig holes in our outside dirt kennels. He is great on a leash and does tend to jump at first from excitement. “Odin” rarely barks and is super laid back when we go get him out of his kennel.

If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy with a lucky blue eye, call the shelter at 719 336-8769 for further information. His adoption fee is $50 and we are open on Monday- Friday from 7-4pm.
