Due to the icy roads, Lakewood Inn The Doghouse will be CLOSED today, Thursday, February 6, 2025 for Daycare and Grooming. We will be open from 9-11am and 5-7pm for any pick-ups and drop-offs of Boarding pets.

As a reminder, when Lakewood City Schools are closed due to treacherous driving conditions due to snow or ice, ITD will be closed. Thank you for your understanding.

Good evening everyone 😄 ITD Mentor pup parents it’s the time you’ve been waiting for!! Party pics! We apologize in advance as a good handful of pics are a bit blurry. . Everyone was going crazy and our camera shutter moves only so fast 😅 non the less… we did Glinda the goods bubbles! Marched the yellow brick road through the obstacle tunnel, had a good and wicked witch tug of war, we sniffed lions, tigers and bears oh my!! 😱Watched the colorful horse of course changing lights and one cannot forget the flying monkey flirt pole 😁 Please enjoy these wizarding photos!

Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Lakewood anymore! Yesterday ITD Lakewood was swept away to the magical world of the Wizard of Paws, somewhere over the rainbow we had a blast! We played with Glindas bubbles and were fascinated by a horse of a different color, defied gravity while battling the flying monkeys, traversed through the obstacles the yellow brick road had in store, sniffed out the Lions and Tigers and Bears (oh my!), and tugged at being a good witch or a bad witch! Thank you to all who came out yesterday, as sad as we were to end the party, there's no place like home!

Despite the bitter cold, Inn The Doghouse will remain open for your furry friends on January 21 & 22, 2025. Our heated facility ensures a safe and comfortable environment for dogs, even when outdoor access is limited. Due to frigid temperatures, potty breaks outside will be short and limited and we will put potty pads in our Small Dog area. To protect your pup's paws we always use pet-friendly ice melt in our parking lot. Join us for a cozy playtime!

This is an impawtant doggy service announcement from Inn The Doghouse!!! We would like you to know we will be open for all services on MLK Day 1/20/25! Also to note: with the utterly cold weather in the coming forecast, we will have our warm doors open and waiting to serve your pups!! 🤗🤗 Our building is perfectly climate controlled to keep your pup warm and toasty during the blistering conditions. In the event where the weather would cause dangerous driving conditions we will promptly put out any closing notice on our social media pages, our phone answering service as well as a text to clients. 😁❄️🌨️ Have a warm and lovely weekend everyone!
