Woodbrook Hunt Club The oldest hunt club West of the Mississippi River! At the Woodbrook Hunt Club, we strive to maintain the traditions of riding to hounds. We are a drag hunt.

We sport the scarlet and black coats that you see in the old hunt prints. We keep 13 or more couple of American Foxhounds in our kennels. Hounds are hunted by our Huntsman and assisted by several Whippers-In. We also have a clubhouse for "hunt breakfasts" and other social gatherings, a formal Hunt Ball, summer hunter paces and an annual Hunter Trials Horse Show. No animals are harmed in our huntin

g activities. Humans (on foot) run ahead of the riders and hounds to lay a scent for the hounds to follow.

WHC Painting Party this Sunday, 8/9 from 10 am to 2 pm! Our goal is to paint the posts and rails of the Andy Lorig arena to get ready for our 100th Anniversary! We're supplying the black asphalt paint, please wear old clothes, and bring rubber gloves, old paint brushes and a small bucket if you have one. Lunch will be provided in the clubhouse for painters, courtesy of Emily Rang, Cathy Elledge, Jessica Bradly and Ryan Boley.

For the last 100 years, the Woodbrook Hunt Club has been celebrating hounds, horses, nature, community, and equestrian sports. Fox hunting is a multi-generational, animal centered pastime that brings joy, athleticism, the great outdoors, horsemanship, and hounds together across the globe. We are a drag hunt, and no animals are harmed.

The Chase Goes On! We want to celebrate with YOU!
