We're always eager to add more members to our KMF family! Klear Mont Farms is owned and operated by Kim Pratt, who has ridden Grand Prix and been a trainer at several barns throughout Western Washington. Kim's experience in the ring has given her a wonderful perspective when it comes to training. She is known for her uncanny ability to match up horses and riders to make the perfect team! KMF rider

s range from beginners to advanced, and can be seen at local rated shows such as Cascade Horse Shows to Canadian showparks like Milner Downs and Thunderbird. School horses are available for those without their own horse; board and training packages are available for students with their own horse. KMF features an outdoor ring as well as an enclosed indoor arena, paddocks, two barns, wash rack and two tack rooms. 🌲 EVERGREEN RECAP 🌲

What a 💫magical💫 week at Evergreen Classic! Lots of winning, lots of learning- the girls and geldings did GREAT!

Paisley and Bella enjoyed their FIRST rated show and moved up consistently all week, with an 18" hunter championship in the middle! 💃

Phoenix and Teddy became more confident as the show went on, and even secured a Champion! Bravery looks good on you, kid! 🐻

Cati and Brian placed 3rd in the 2'6" Hunt & Go derby, earned reserve in the 2'9" hunter division, and moved up to some quality 3' rounds by the weekend, including a great trip in the THIS medal! 🧠

Caty and Georgia continued their "summer of slay" with a reserve in the 0.90m jumpers! This Paint has POWER. 🎨

Katelin and Frankie debuted in the jumper ring and ended in the 0.80m jumpers, with consistent placings and FAST rounds! 🥋

Avery and Brie didn't just make it to the 90s this week- they DOMINATED with a championship in the juniors! 🧀

Lexi and Kylo showed off their partnership with some smooth, well-executed rounds, and moved up Sunday. These two are cool cucumbers! 🥒

Annabelle and Fefe grew a TON together this show, with quality rounds, lots of smiles, and a 3rd place finish in the 0.90 Classic! 💋

Kim and Patric had great developing rounds for this young horse! 🍀

... and so this Gemini makes his final voyage back to the universe. 🌟

It's rare for horses to have twins; rarer still that they survive; and even MORE RARE that they thrive to see 30+ years. But with a crooked tail and a sometimes-devilish attitude (at least according to barn tales of his younger-years antics- he was a saint when he grew up), he became the little horse that could. We honestly thought he'd outlive us all, or at least break Ty's record. 🤣

For DECADES, this little hony was the quiet king of the Klear Mont castle. It is actually impossible to estimate how many people Colby taught to ride. He was a legend here- THE backbone of the schoolhorse program for many years. It's been amazing to see his old friends come visit, or share photos. Every horse should be as treasured as Colby was. Thank you to everyone that reached out.

We love you so, so much, Colbykins. They say let them go on a good day- you still had a spark in your eyes and a giddy up to your step. His twin sister, Libby, will be waiting in the stars for him.

Saturday results also include a FIRST for Vicky and Winnie, and great growth for Phoenix and Teddy. Patric continues to shine in the 1.10ms, with a first in the YJC 5Y/O!

FOUR of our riders moved up today and had GREAT success- including a 2nd for Anna and Bailey in their first 0.90m class!

Tomorrow is CLASSIC DAY - ride hard, ladies!

What a whirlwind year 2024 was! We welcomed SO many wonderful new horses, including this amazing young gelding.

Introducing "WH Labatt Blue", or Louie! Proudly owned by Bridget Connors , Louie is your typical puppy-dog gelding type. He is kind and personable, with a generally unflappable attitude, but knows how to turn on that sport mode!

We are so thrilled to see what Bridget and Louie can do in 2025!

What's better than one new horse at the farm? TWO new horses on the same weekend!

A trip to Calgary for the trainers resulted in the PERFECT find for one of our teens, Avery, who was starting the search for a move-up horse.

Introducing- SIMPLY SOUTHERN ("Brie" 🧀), a lovely mare from the Spruce Meadows Hanoverian breeding program. Brie was one of four 2020 foals in Spruce's annual "Name The Foal" contest, with her name an homage to the Southern family, founders of the legendary show park. She is bred to be an absolute ATHLETE, and she sure looks it!

Fun fact: her sire is Spot Cash, a cousin to one of our newer horses, Baileys 114 (via Stakkato)!

We have high hopes for this partnership. Avery is over the moon 🌙! Brie's "brother" Kylo will be staying in the barn, teaching another junior the ropes.
