We're always eager to add more members to our KMF family! Klear Mont Farms is owned and operated by Kim Pratt, who has ridden Grand Prix and been a trainer at several barns throughout Western Washington. Kim's experience in the ring has given her a wonderful perspective when it comes to training. She is known for her uncanny ability to match up horses and riders to make the perfect team! KMF rider

s range from beginners to advanced, and can be seen at local rated shows such as Cascade Horse Shows to Canadian showparks like Milner Downs and Thunderbird. School horses are available for those without their own horse; board and training packages are available for students with their own horse. KMF features an outdoor ring as well as an enclosed indoor arena, paddocks, two barns, wash rack and two tack rooms. turned out to be a very nice show for Klear Mont Farms!
- 💋 CATOKISS and Kim Pratt moved up to the 1.10s in his first rated horse show in the US! Bright future for this young horse. Thank you Hoffman Investments for the ride.
- 🧠 LUXPURE Z and Catherine Bender began their hunt for the medals, with a 4th in the THIS Children's Medal and good building jumper rounds!
- 🍑 GEORGIA ON MY MIND and Catherine Jacobsen took great ribbons in the 0.90s and 1.0m, with CHAMPION in the 1.0m division and 3rd in the 0.90-1.0m Accumulator class with a 1.10m high option! Thank you for the ride.
- 💃 FABULEUSE DE L'AUTROT and Annabelle Metzgar had several quality rounds, with a lot of learning and some serious TURNING AND BURNING!
- 🦀 BELLE DE JOUR and Danielle Vance returned to the big show ring after nearly a year hiatus, for a double champion in the 0.60s and high point amateur!

We are so thankful for all our horses!

The infamous Monroe weather held out for the most part, with a cold but generally SUNNY week.

Always a great day at the farm when fresh gravel shows up! Redoing the driveway and paths means repurposed gravel for the paddocks and LESS MUD! Lots of little projects this week to refresh the farm for 2026.

Looking for a Saint? 🍀 Meet PATRIC! 🍀

Dernahatten Doyle (2020 ISH by A. Umonia 60, with several FEI-level siblings) is a 16.3hh, 5-year-old gelding imported last year from Ireland.

"Patric" showed up and down the West Coast from Sonoma to Thunderbird this year, ending the season with great rounds in the meters and meter tens; he shows good scope with an easy-to-stay-with jump. He needs no real prep at shows- settles in quickly and knows how to do his job in the ring. He's been jumped up to 1.20m at home and it's easy for him!

Friendly and kind, Patric would make a GREAT older junior or amateur horse in a program; we've put teenagers on him and he is unbothered. He loves being doted on in the crossties, and is easy to lunge, bathe, shoe, and load... all the things a good horse should do! Not to be cliché, but he's got the best puppy dog personality. All three gaits are comfortable and easy to sit. He's mostly a leg ride with just enough of an engine to make it fun, but has a balanced cadence and big stride to easily make the step. Could equitation be in his future?

Vetted for purchase last year, and recently and thoroughly vetted by our specialist vet at the end of the season, with no issues noted.

We'll be VERY sad to see him go, but imported him with resale in mind. Make this tall, dark, and handsome horse yours!
