Meet Emilie 🐾
Originally from rural Georgia, Emilie has had a lifelong love for animals and recently relocated to Lakewood Ranch after spending 13 years in the Cayman Islands with her family and their rescue dog, Maggie 🌴🐾

While living in Grand Cayman, Emilie volunteered with local dog rescue organizations, helping with everything from puppy bathing and dog walking to supporting rescue fundraising efforts. She’s passionate about making animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

Emilie also brings more than 20 years of experience as an educator, which helped shape the patience, compassion, reliability, and warmth she brings to every pet she cares for.

As both a mom and devoted pet lover, Emilie understands that pets are family. She will be offering private boarding services for your furkids and we just can’t wait for you and your pups to meet her 🥰

Our private boarding spots are designed for pets who do best in a loving home environment instead of a traditional facility, and we’re so excited to now have additional trusted sitters opening their homes to more sweet pups.

Some clients become so much more than names on a schedule, they become part of your story 🧡

This sweet boy is one of our OG clients… one of the families who trusted Sweet Paws & Pads from the very beginning, long before the growth, awards, packed schedules, and thousands of visits later. The kind of clients who took a chance on a small local business with a big dream behind it.

As a business owner, one of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been letting my daughter grow alongside the business too. She’s watched firsthand that success isn’t built overnight and it isn’t built alone. It comes from showing up consistently, nurturing relationships, treating people well, and genuinely caring about the pets and families who trust us.
