Golden Ridge Stables has taught Minnesota to ride since 1986.

Our established horseback riding lesson program offers quality hunt seat and western lessons for youth and ladies of all ages and abilities on well-mannered school horses. Our students discover how to work with each horse on the ground as well as on its back. Riding is a life skill that teaches self-discipline, communication, and teamwork. Ridge Horse Camp provides each child individual attention and structured riding lessons, all while learning fascinating facts about their horses. Campers discover how to safely work with his/her horse on the ground as well as on its back in a “hands and seat on” environment. Our fun activities include games and creative crafts. Each rider goes home with a treasured keepsake and lasting memories! Conveniently located in beautiful Lakeville, Minnesota, we ride rain or shine in our safe, clean indoor facility. Visitors are always welcome to meet our wonderful school horses and talk about our lesson program and amazing summer horse camp.

🚜The work never stops at the barn! While lessons are going on inside, our team is working hard outside to spread manure out in the fields. This is a great way to enrich the soil in the field and set it up for a successful growing season next year. Thank you Tom, Sarah, Colton, Kyle and Wyatt for all your hard work!

We have welcomed two wonderful horses to our lesson horse family! First up is Marco Polo (Rohara Marco Polo) a Half Arabian gelding. He is a lover of all the snacks and a total ham. Thank you to the Barker family for sharing him with us! Also joining us is Dolly (Hope Express) a Purebred Arabian mare. She is just the sweetest thing. Thank you Dan McConaughey for sharing her with us!
