Golden Ridge Stables has taught Minnesota to ride since 1986.

Our established horseback riding lesson program offers quality hunt seat and western lessons for youth and ladies of all ages and abilities on well-mannered school horses. Our students discover how to work with each horse on the ground as well as on its back. Riding is a life skill that teaches self-discipline, communication, and teamwork. Ridge Horse Camp provides each child individual attention and structured riding lessons, all while learning fascinating facts about their horses. Campers discover how to safely work with his/her horse on the ground as well as on its back in a “hands and seat on” environment. Our fun activities include games and creative crafts. Each rider goes home with a treasured keepsake and lasting memories! Conveniently located in beautiful Lakeville, Minnesota, we ride rain or shine in our safe, clean indoor facility. Visitors are always welcome to meet our wonderful school horses and talk about our lesson program and amazing summer horse camp.

More pictures to come but we had an absolute BLAST at Canada’s National Arabian Campionship! 🇨🇦 Everyone was so welcoming and kind. From the coffee cart and snacks in the morning to free lunch to fun shenanigans in the evening, they really pulled out all the stops. We loved checking out the Triple Crown Lounge and seeing the history of the Arabian Horse brought to life, what a cool addition to the show! We are so proud of all our riders and horses for giving it their all and bringing their A Game to the arena, you guys are rockstars💙💛💙 Thank you to everyone involved, we can’t wait to come back in the future! 😍

There was a whisper in the wind, it spoke your name to me. The voice said it’s time to let you go, you’ve earned your wings, fly free. They didn’t let me argue, I had no choice you see. Heaven needs another angel, and you were on loan to me. My heart is yours to take with you, you always knew it best. Keep safe the memories that we shared, our love will do the rest. Now I listen for the wind to blow, wherever that may be. I hear your voice in its whisper and take comfort… I know an angel speaks to me

Oh sweet Tina girl, your wings were ready but our hearts were not. We are devastated to share the passing of the very best girl. I could probably write a book on all the things we loved about Tina and we are so blessed that Olivia and the Lord Family let us be a part of her story. Tina was the epitome of a versatile Arabian, showing in Hunt, Western, Trail, Halter, Sidesaddle, Showmanship, Sport Horse and even Native Costume. From showing at a Regional and National level to taking riders in their first Academy Classes, Tina was truly a legend. Tina was full of personality and opinions, she never failed to make us laugh. A camp superstar, she took all of our shenanigans in stride and was the ultimate babysitter. We will miss you forever and love you for always precious girl. Enjoy your new wings 💕
