After a long week of 12-hour shifts at the hospital, there is nothing quite like finally having a day off and being completely surrounded by dachshund love. 🐾❤️

They somehow know when you’re exhausted. They know when you need to rest. And their answer is simple: pile on top of you, keep you warm, and don’t let you out of their sight. 😂

There’s something so special about the love and loyalty of a dachshund. They don’t just want to be near you—they want to be on you. Head on your chest, nose tucked against your face, little body pressed as close as physically possible. Like tiny nurses making sure their human is okay. 🥹

After spending all week taking care of others, today my little pack decided it was their turn to take care of me.

Warm blankets, sleepy eyes, little paws, and a whole lot of unconditional love. This is what a day off looks like in a dachshund house. ❤️🐾

Teddy is our adorable long-haired fluffy little boy with a personality that makes you fall in love almost instantly. 🥹🐾

He is playful, happy, affectionate, and already incredibly loyal. Teddy loves his people so much that he follows right along behind you everywhere—just like a tiny little duckling! 🐥💙 Wherever you go, Teddy thinks he should be going too.

And then there’s that fluff! 😍 His beautiful long coat is already coming in, making him look like the sweetest little teddy bear on four tiny legs.

Sweet little Biscuit is our gorgeous long-haired dapple dachshund boy, and he is every bit as precious as his name. 🥹

🐾🥞 A Special Treat for Our Mama-to-Be! 🥞🐾

Our sweet Bailey Girl is officially ONE WEEK away from her due date! 🥹💕 So of course, we had to make our pregnant mama her very own special pancake to celebrate! 🥞🐶

She’s been working hard growing those precious little Blue Star babies, so we figured she deserved a little extra spoiling. 💗 And judging by those big puppy-dog eyes… Bailey definitely agreed. 😂

Just 7 more days until her due date 🐾 We’re getting everything ready and getting SO excited to meet the newest little members of the Blue Star family.
