That’s just the way my horse is. That’s just how I am wired.

My horse learned that before he came to me. That’s what I was taught and have always done.

It’s fine. Lots of people do it that way. My horse is better than he was. There are endless versions of this kind of thinking.

If you accept it, you are choosing it.

Or you can be open to the possibility that change can happen with new information, tools and practices.

🐴 Confidence isn't built by pushing a horse through fear.

When a horse feels safe, they can think, process and make better decisions. Sometimes the best thing we can do is give them space to find the answer instead of forcing them towards it.

🔵 Don't rush the process.
🔵 Help them let go of tension.
🔵 Build confidence through understanding.

A horse that learns to think through challenges becomes a safer, more willing partner. 💙
