This week, we had the sweetest little visitors at Saddle Up Stables! For several days, A family with 2 young girls came for pony rides and left with huge smiles—and even left us with something special: hand-drawn pictures and heartfelt thank-you letters.

They rode Buttercup and Otis several times, smiling and loving every minute, making memories they—and we—won’t soon forget. These moments remind us why we do what we do.

To the little cowgirls (and their awesome parents): thank you for sharing your joy and creativity with us. Your drawings are proudly hanging at the stables.

Offering Trail Rides in Lake George for over 70+ years.

Since the 1940's our family has operated riding stables in and around Lake George. We have many returning customers that ride each summer with us, also requesting their favorite horse to ride. We take excellent care and treat our horses and ponies like family. Saddle Up offers many first time riders and beginners an enjoyable experience on a horse. The beautiful groomed trails and seasoned horses make it a wonderful adventure for everyone. Its a great way to see the Adirondacks while visiting our beautiful area.

Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. (Mid May - September 3)

Located just minutes from I-87 Exit 22 and north of Lake George Village.
