To my dear Pooch Palace people, Sadly I must bring the news of me having to close the Pooch Palace. My last day will be June 30th. In sept. 2024. I found a bump on my skin the turned out to be Merkel cell carcinoma. I had surgery and followed up with radiation treatments. In January2026 my PET scan came back positive. I now am in stage 3. One of the cells was right next to my transplanted kidney. I was referred to the Dana Farber institute in Boston. The surgeon was top notch. The lymphonodectomy surgery went well and my kidney was saved. Now I start radiation. That will take a couple months. I’m in the process of selling with the hopes he will keep it open as a kennel. I will update as to when the kennel will reopen, Thanks so much for trusting us with all your beautiful dogs. Les & Elizabeth
