Caring Hands Animal Hospital

Caring Hands Animal Hospital Caring Hands Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited full-service small animal veterinary hospital We understand how deeply you love your pet.

That to you, when you look at them, you don’t see an animal… you see family. We exist to help your pet live the longest, happiest life possible. That is why we are so passionate about preventative medicine. When your pet becomes our patient, we look to find disease processes before they are symptomatic. We use cutting edge diagnostics to stay ahead of health issues. This allows us to catch issues

much earlier on, when they are inherently easier to treat and manage. This simply means a better life for the pet you love. When your pet comes through our doors, helping them live the longest, happiest life possible is our mission. It is the reason we get out of bed in the morning. It is our calling in life. That is why we are so proud of the standard of medicine practiced here. Here, your pet’s healthcare will be uncommonly thorough. We are dedicated to finding the answers that matter. That is why we commonly have pet owners come to us for second opinions. That is why we are one of the fewer than 15% of animal hospitals who are AAHA accredited. And that is why, here, we believe that only the best will do for the pet you love so dearly. Our services include well and sick animal care, surgical procedures, comprehensive dentistry, x-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory services. We know how busy life can be, so in addition to regular daytime hours, we also offer drop-off services and weekend hours. Please inquire within for availability and to schedule an appointment. We can't wait to meet you and your fur family!

☀️ HOT WEATHER IS HERE ☀️
As temperatures continue to rise, so does the risk of heatstroke in pets. Heatstroke can happen FAST and can quickly become life-threatening, especially for certain breeds.

WATCH FOR THESE SIGNS:
• Excessive panting
• Heavy drooling
• Bright red gums or tongue
• Weakness or stumbling
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Collapse or unresponsiveness

BREEDS AT HIGHER RISK:
Flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds struggle much more in the heat and should not spend extended time outdoors, including:
• Bulldogs
• French Bulldogs
• Pugs
• Boxers
• Boston Terriers
• Shih Tzus
• Pekingese

HOW TO HELP KEEP YOUR PET SAFE:
• Limit outdoor time during peak heat (10am–6pm)
• Always provide fresh, cool water
• Walk pets early morning or late evening
• Avoid hot pavement. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
• NEVER leave pets in a parked car, even for a minute

If you suspect heatstroke, move your pet to a cool area immediately, offer cool (not ice cold) water, and contact your veterinarian right away.

Did you know arthritis is one of the most common causes of pain and decreased mobility in pets?
Many pets slow down gradually, making the signs easy to miss, hesitation jumping, stiffness after resting, slowing down on walks, or just “acting older.”

To help support lifelong comfort and mobility, we’re offering:

✨ 25% OFF all in-clinic joint & arthritis supplements throughout the month of May! ✨

Including:
• Movoflex
• Ursolyx
• YUMOVE Advance

No additional requirements — pets simply must be up to date on their annual exam.

Let’s help keep your pets moving comfortably for years to come!
