Hey People, it's Bee and BBQ farmer here at Hoedown Farms in Colorado. We've got these fantastic Bacon and BBQ Bundles that we are selling and I wanted to make a video showing how I cook dinner for my family from the Bacon and BBQ bundle. I figured this would be practical and encouraging. So this dinner was good.

So, I've been working on a new video series, featuring short videos of me, cooking dinners from our "Bacon and BBQ Bundles" that we are selling. These will be coming this upcoming week. Those dinners we really good and we'll be adding these to bi-weekly rotation.

I took on morning rabbit chores for a couple of days. On Day 0, I realized they were knocking over the feeders and we were wasting feed, tremendously. I ain't got time for this. I've got to improve this food system!

Hey People, it's Bee and BBQ farmer here at Hoedown Farms in Colorado and it's graduation day! Not from school but from the brooder. These little chicks are babies no more but still small. So they graduated from the "nursery" to our Halfway House. I know. Not that kind of halfway house but here they get the best of both words - outdoor 24/7 and careful protection. So they are halfway there to being with the big birds, free ranging with more independence on bigger pastures.

Hey People, it's Bee and BBQ farmer here at Hoedown Farms in Colorado and it's hot. I mean hot and the water and abundant grass are...late. So what's a farmer to do? Around here some elm trees pop up like cottonwoods and they are hard to get rid of. Well these noble sheep provide yet another benefit when air is hot, the broadleaf grasses are on vacation, and sheep need to eat.
