Sometimes nature does crazy things. This “ headless” corn snake was in an egg. After removal it actually took a few breaths and then died. Does anyone see where it could have respirated from? I don’t see anything that resembles a mouth but I saw its body expand and contract just like anything else that breathes.it did die on its own a few mins later but I was just “whoa; wth” and other words.

I have to say I thought this wouldn’t happen and gave up on thinking she would have any babies . Today, the hottest day...
