This is our annual reminder that Lilies are extremely toxic to cats! We have personally known cats who have almost died from exposure to Lilies! If you have a cat in your house, please do not bring these flowers home! 🐈

Easter lilies kill kitties!
Please make sure that if you have pets, do not bring lilies into your home. The effects are very severe in cats! The lilies that may live in your home for a week are not worth risking your cat’s life.

To all of the people who want to argue that a Lily didn’t hurt their cat… that’s great for you! But it will kill others’ cats so we want to warn people. Maybe share an adoptable pet instead of arguing about a graphic created to spread awareness of Lily toxicity.

Most people grow up hearing that cats hate water. That is not necessarily the case! A lot of cats tolerate water quite well. Shadow is a great example of a calm kitty in the bath. 🧼

Some cats are more nervous than others, and do require extra help for the grooming process. But, for cats that are prone to matting and other sanitary issues, the bath is a necessary part of their care.

Despite the stereotypes that you may have heard, the majority of cats are able to be groomed by a professional groomer who has cat-specific training! 😻
