Good Morning, Meowter Banks Friends!

We are laser-focused on finding the most beneficial hours to be open. We appreciate all of your support and love for our cats. As you all know, their enrichment and finding their furrever homes are our priority. "Off-season" hours are another first for us as a cat cafe in our beautiful beach town, and we are confident that we will find the most productive times to bring our cats and our community together. 🌱 Fern found her furrever home! She came to us as Megatron & transformed into the precious Fern we’ve come to adore. Today, she drifted right into the hearts of her new purrfect parents and is off to start life with two new siblings!

Good morning, Meowter Banks Friends 🧡
We have some incredible new and friendly kitties that are available for adoption!
From left to right: Linus, Charlie Brown, Mateo, Sage, Cappuccina, and Zane

Linus is a neutered male who loves to play and tell you about his day. His brother, Charlie Brown, is more laid back. He is also a neutered male.
Mateo, neutered male, is a shy sweetie who loves cuddles, but he is a bit shy at the moment.
Sage is a spayed female. You will not see her for a couple of weeks as she's healing from her spay surgery in our R&R sanctuary with Bonita and Hunt.
Cappuccina is a spayed female. She is cautious at first and scopes out the scene before she interacts. She has an irritated eye, but that doesn't hinder her from spotting a cuddle with a person(s) of her choosing.
Lastly, Zane is a 4 month old neutered male who loves to play and run around. Such a handsome boy, too! Zane's adoption is processing at the moment.

Come by and snuggle to socialize with our fun fosters in the cat lounge and possibly adopt 😻

Since we only permit 8 guests of 7+ years old in the cat lounge, we highly recommend calling ahead of your visit to see if there is a space you could possibly reserve. 252-256-9492

Our café area is open all day with no reservation needed. Just come in and enjoy the ambiance with a delicious local pastery and a smooth coffee or espresso. See you soon!

We're Hiring a Cat Caretaker!

Do you love cats, clean spaces, and cozy vibes?

Our cat café is looking for a reliable, compassionate team member to care for our adoptable cats and help keep our lounge sparkling. You’ll also cross-train as a barista—so if you love espresso and whiskers, this is your dream job!

Qualifications & Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
• 18 yo+
• Not allergic to cats and genuinely loves animals
• Honest, dependable, and demonstrates strong integrity
• Skilled in time management and able to stay on task without constant supervision
• Responsible and takes initiative to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized space
• Willing to cross-train as a barista and assist with café duties
• Committed to excellent customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Reliable, with consistent transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• A self-starter with a growth mindset and a desire to learn and improve
• A team player who communicates well and contributes positively to group dynamics
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, litter box maintenance, etc.)

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Awesome!)
• Experience working with cats or in animal care
• Previous barista or food service experience
• Basic knowledge of feline behavior and health
• Comfort speaking with guests about cat adoptions and café offerings
