Twas the night before Christmas at the A R C
Not a creature was stirring, as calm as could be.
The kennels were cozy, the lights dimmed just right,
The animals nestled, awaiting the night.
The dogs snoozed softly, their tails in a curl,
Dreaming of bones and a romp or a whirl.
The cats stretched lazily, with purrs that did hum,
Content in their warmth, with bellies so plump.
Even the bunnies, with fur soft as snow,
Snuggled together in a gentle warm glow.
The hospital quiet, a rare peaceful scene,
With love in the air, and all creatures serene.
The doctor walked through with a smile so bright,
Ensuring the pets were all tucked in tight.
Missy was there, her heart full of care,
With her children around her, love everywhere.
They laughed and they chatted, this family so kind,
Giving their all, with the season in mind.
For Christmas at A R C is a magical place,
Where love for each creature shows in every face.
So here’s to the doctors, the team, and their cheer,
For spreading the joy of the season each year.
May the animals find rest and the humans find peace,
Merry Christmas to all, and may the blessings increase!
