Uncertainty is one of the hardest parts of a sick pet visit. 🔬

Not knowing what's wrong, or how long it'll take to find out, can be just as stressful as the symptoms themselves.

That's why we keep diagnostics, such as lab work and digital imaging, in-house. Instead of waiting days for results, we can evaluate organ function, detect infections, and assess injuries right away, so you get real answers faster and your pet gets treatment sooner.

🐾 A little scratching can be normal. Constant itching usually isn't.

If your pet is scratching frequently, losing fur, developing redness or scabs, or dealing with recurring ear issues, it could be a sign of something more serious than simple irritation.

Left alone, persistent itching often leads to skin infections, hot spots, open wounds, and real discomfort that keeps pets up at night.

The sooner we identify the underlying cause, the sooner your pet starts feeling better. If the itching seems excessive or ongoing, we keep same-day sick appointments available so you are not waiting it out. 💙

🐾 Scratching isn’t the only sign your pet may be uncomfortable.

Many itchy pets actually show more subtle symptoms like paw licking, head shaking, scooting, rubbing against furniture, or excessive grooming. Some pets may even develop redness, hot spots, or hair loss over time.

While occasional scratching can be normal, persistent irritation may point to allergies, skin infections, parasites, or other underlying conditions.

If your pet seems uncomfortable more often than not, it may be time to schedule a visit with us to help identify the cause and find relief. 💙

Hot days call for cool treats. 🐶

Frozen and fresh snacks are an easy way to add hydration during summer, and most of these are already in your fridge. Just keep portions small and skip anything with added salt, sugar, or artificial sweeteners.

If a new treat leaves your dog with an upset stomach, we keep same-day sick appointments open so you are never waiting days to be seen.
