Happy Halloween from Allendale Animal Health Center! 🎃🐾

Whether your pet is dressed up, hiding from the doorbell, or waiting for an approved treat, we hope our Kissimmee families have a safe and fun Halloween.

And with Día de los Mu***os celebrations just around the corner, remember to keep pets away from chocolate, raisins, onions, garlic, bones, and heavily seasoned foods that may be part of holiday gatherings.

Happy National Cat Day! 🐱

Tell us your cat runs the house without telling us. We already know the signs. The 4 am wake-up calls, the full bowl they cry over anyway, the box that beats every toy you have ever bought.

Today is for every cat who runs the house, and every person happy to let them. 🧡

A cute costume is only fun if your pet is comfortable wearing it. 🎃🐾 Make sure they can move, see, breathe, and hear normally, and skip anything with small pieces they could chew or swallow.

If your pet seems stressed or uncomfortable, let them celebrate costume-free.

Keep the candy bowl for the humans this Halloween. 🍫🎃 Chocolate, xylitol, raisins, and some rich or fatty foods can all cause problems for pets.

If your pet eats something concerning, call our team right away. If their needs are urgent, we ask clients to call rather than book online.

Green flag: gives you kisses. 💚
Red flag: gives you kisses immediately after licking something questionable. 🚩😂

Pet parenthood is really just unconditional love with a few moments we agree not to think about too closely.

Waiting a week to get your pet seen shouldn't be the norm. We keep same-day appointments open for sick visits and surgeries, and our early drop-off hours mean you can leave your pet with us before work and pick them up after.

If something seems off with your pet today, call us or book online — we'll find a time.

Fall yard cleanup can come with a few hazards for curious pets. 🍂🐶 Fertilizers, pesticides, sharp tools, compost, and moldy yard debris should all stay safely out of reach.

If your pet gets into something concerning or starts acting unusually afterward, call our team so we can help.

Shorter days can mean more walks after dark. 🌙🐕 Reflective collars, harnesses, leashes, and lights can help make your pet easier for drivers and cyclists to see.

A little extra visibility can make evening walks around Kissimmee safer.

Fall decorations and yard finds can be tempting to curious pets. 🍂🐾 Wild mushrooms, certain plants, moldy foods, and other seasonal items can cause problems if eaten.

If you think your pet got into something they shouldn’t have, call our team so we can help determine the next step.

Those puppy-dog eyes may say “more,” but portions still matter. 🐶🥣 National Pet Obesity Awareness Day is a good reminder that measuring meals can make it easier to track how much your pet is eating and support a healthy weight.

Not sure how much belongs in the bowl? Bring it up at your pet’s next visit so our team can help based on their age, lifestyle, body condition, and health needs.
