Canine Meadow, Lake Metroparks' dog park, is a place for dogs to socialize, exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the supervision of their owners. This park has a large dog area (2.57 acres), a swim area (1.84 acres) and a small dog area (1.02 acres). Access to the swim area is by way of the large dog area only. Pet ow

ners who are not physically able to participate in long walks with their dogs will now have this opportunity to exercise their dogs in a safe and friendly area.

This is how we feel now that the pond at Canine Meadow Dog Park is open for the 2025 season! As a reminder, the pond is tested and treated for bacteria on a bi-weekly basis to ensure the water is safe for both humans and pets.
