Students from JFK high school visited Boyd’s Home to serve and love on the residents today! We had a blast playing games, filling our collage art papers for a future project, and even unplanned sporadic dance parties that just broke out randomly multiple times and the kids joined right in! Thankful to JFK House of St Mary for coming and to JFK HS administration for making service part of their school! I’m beyond proud of how well these kids interacted and engaged w the residents!

Happy 90th Birthday to our Eddie! 🥳🎈🎉🎂
We had a ball celebrating Ed w/ his never ending smile and positive attitude!! Residents and Staff all had matching Eddie Tshirts, took time to tell him how special he is, enjoyed 1935 trivia and fun facts, got pictures in a tractor from his childhood stories that our workshop, Pitmark Services, built for him, then enjoyed a catered luncheon and of course cake!! Memories by the Yard helped set the party tone by decorating the yard for us! A special day for a special guy!

A House divided 🏈 so we had a blast playing our own game of “family fued” before the big rivalry game! Some of us think the right team won but All were good sports and enjoyed !!

Hey neighbors- We hope you enjoy driving by Boyd’s the next few weeks! We’re so THANKFUL for many things so we’re spreading some Christmas Cheer early this year!! 🎄💡❤️🎄
We had our annual thankful party today which is ALWAYS a highlight- the residents count all their blessings ❤️and not to be rushing over Thanksgiving but being so thankful for Christmas too we couldn’t wait to plug in the new lights!! We hope the residents, staff, and our whole community can enjoy the lights this season!

A member of our Boyd’s family(staff) starred in the hilarious Adams Family musical so a small group of our residents who chose to go were so excited to see her perform! The rest of the residents get a private performance of her singing but we already knew she’s a star! 🌟

Celebrated our bowling banquet with great service and yummy food from Mijavec’s Food Truck at Boyd’s! Honored high scores and danced to favorite songs from this years theme of “Bowling in the USA” thanks to our friends ZPraise for preforming! Always a fun time!

Happy Valentine’s Day from the most loving group of people! 💝💕💖 We received the sweetest valentines from Warren JFK High School’s House of St. Mary and from the Kinsman Busy Bees 2nd edition 4H Club!
After our party yesterday and outing today to a morning movie at a private showing just for us, we’re ending our V-day w a special dinner and more treats! 🪂 🎥 🧁

Shiver me Timbers! 🏴‍☠️Me Hearties at Boyd’s had a terrific time celebrating National Talk Like a Pirate Day! We walked the plank, plundered for treasure, passed the spyglass, catapulted cannon balls, and even enjoyed a ship race! Yo Ho Ho!!! So much fun we celebrated over the last 2 days!!! Special Dinner included
Fish of the Sea 🐟
Cannonballs (hush puppies!)
Seaweed (coleslaw)
And beautiful jewels from the treasure chest (fruit salad) 💎
Special thanks to a staff her and family for lending Boyd’s their amazing pirate ship for these fun-filled days too! ❤️🏴‍☠️
