Over a month ago, I shared about my equine-assisted offerings—but I want to take a moment to clarify something important:
I am not a therapeutic riding center.
What I offer goes deeper than riding lessons or labels.
Equine-assisted work, in this sacred space, is not just for those with visible disabilities—it's for anyone navigating invisible burdens:
✨ Inner conflict
✨ Past trauma
✨ Low self-worth
✨ Emotional shut-down
✨ Feeling stuck, unseen, or small
This work is about reconnecting with your body, your energy, your power. It’s about healing the internal struggle, not just learning how to ride a horse.
These horses—especially this big old cranky guy named Garth—have a way of reflecting back what we carry. They invite us to shed the old versions of ourselves and grow into a more grounded, confident, present version—on the ground and in the saddle.
Last night, I had a new student come for his first lesson. I didn’t know his full story—only afterward did I learn that he had previously struggled in other programs, refusing to participate.
But none of that mattered here.
He showed up. And wow, did he shine.
I taught him about the horse's energy centers. How to connect through intuitive touch. I watched Garth mirror him perfectly—calm, curious, engaged.
And the joy this boy felt?
His mother told me she had never seen him like that before.
This is the magic of the work.
This is the medicine horses bring
