One missed dose is all it takes to open the door to a huge problem. Fleas cause skin irritation and tapeworms. Ticks carry Lyme and other diseases. Mosquitoes spread heartworm.

Extra walk? New toy? The good treats? They earned it.

This is often the hottest stretch of the year, and pets can overheat fast. Keep it simple:

- Fresh water and shade, always.
- Walk early morning or evening.
- Watch flat-faced breeds and seniors closely.
- Never leave pets in a parked car.

Signs of heatstroke include heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting. Call us right away if you see them. This is an emergency!

We’re excited to announce that Hannah Boring is now officially taking over our grooming appointments at AVS Mountainland! 💕

After months of training and hard work, Hannah is ready to care for your furry family members. She will continue to have the guidance and support of Jessica Lambert as she continues to grow, ensuring your pets receive the loving, high-quality care you know and trust.

Hannah was raised in Masontown and is excited to serve her community in this next chapter in her life! When she’s not at work you can usually find her with family or at the barn with her horses!
