Teddy and Bean are getting ready for the 4th of July!! 🇺🇸

Please remember to work your dog through fireworks this year! Train with them while they happen. Engage in play with them in the yard with their favorite toy while the fireworks go off. Pretend like the fireworks are not happening so your dog sees you not caring about them. Give your dog a Kong full of their favorite snack during the fireworks and leave them be. Walk them before, during and after fireworks. Do not make a big deal out of the fireworks or coddle your dog if they're afraid. Don't pick them up and pet them while telling them it's okay. Don't let them think there's any reason to be afraid. Our dogs look up to us. Be your dog's leader. Show them it's not a big deal. Training can help so much. Yes, it takes time. If your dog really struggles this year, please reach out to us ASAP so we can get training for next year. 🎆🎇

Blaze is officially a sailing boy! He took his very first boating trip the other day with his handler and the entire trip was amazing! We walked around the marina, went out on the boat, went to Blaze's future home, went to and then went back to his future home to meet some future roommates. He was happy to snooze for the rest of the day after a very eventful trip.
