Stetson got his Stetson! 🤣 Our bestest boy is SO loved by his new family. We're thrilled he's settled into his new home and has been loving up on his parents. Happy trails good boy! 🤠❤️

Happy $5 Friday! 😃

For $5 Friday this week we are featuring Ross! We just dropped off this absolute sweetheart at Texas Humane Heroes to get an echocardiogram. We pulled Ross, and his brother Marshall, from the Bastrop Shelter after they were listed for euthanasia. When we took Ross in to be neutered, they told us he has a grade 5/6 heart murmur so we're going to be working on figuring out the best course of action to help him live a long and happy life. He's just the biggest baby and such a sweet soul. We're hopeful his heart can be fixed with surgery to give him the best possible outcome. His echocardiogram today will cost us $430.

Check out Wyatt's dna panel! 🧬😲

We thought it was odd that a few of the puppies in our "Earps" litter looked and acted different so we decided to do a Wisdom Panel to see what Wyatt's breed mix might be. He's quite the mutt! 😍 His brother, Scout (fka Virgil), was tested by his mom through another company and he came back as Border Collie, Doberman, Australian Cattle Dog and German Shepherd. Scout, Warren, Morgan, Newt, Mariah and Virginia all look similar but Martha and Wyatt are definitely different. We never know what our pups are since we rarely see the parents to even guess so doing a dna test when we can afford the extra expense is a lot of fun! 😃

Wyatt is neutered, vaccinated, on prevention and microchipped. He's a good boy with a few quirks but with a patient and loving adopter, he'll be a loving and loyal companion. He can be shy initially so letting him get comfortable on his own time with the help of treat bribes is the best way to win him over. A home with another pup would also be great to help show him the ropes and build trust. Once he trusts you, he's the biggest lovebug! Ariel would love a family! 🥰

Ariel is Gabe and Uri's sister. All three puppies, along with their mom and siblings, were abandoned by their owner who just up and left them behind when they moved. Kind neighbors took them in, found homes for the mom and several puppies but asked for help when they couldn't find homes for 3. If we have openings, we try to help the people already helping so we took in Ariel, Uri and Gabe. Uri and Gabe just found a home but Ariel has been patiently waiting for her family. 😍

Ariel is about 6 months old, has had 2 sets of puppy vaccines so is ready for pre-adoption under our foster-to-adopt program. When she's ready to be spayed, we'll pick her up, take her to our vet for her spay and vaccines, then meet the family again to return her. All covered by the adoption fee! We firmly believe spay and neuter saves lives so all our pets are fixed prior to being officially adopted but they can join a forever family after their 2nd set of puppy vaccines. 🏡😃

Ariel can be shy with people but comes out of her shell quickly with treats and toys. She's super sweet and submissive. Ariel loves all our other dogs and gets so excited to play. She ignores the cats. She's crate trained and getting the hang of ringing a bell on the door to go outside potties but still needs some practice. She's been pretty good about pottying on a puppy pad though if we miss her cue to go outside. She'll do great in a loving home with patient adopters who also have another pup for her to play with. 🐶🐶

Bring your pets inside! The temps are too low for pets to stay outside very long. Remember, even cows froze to death during the cold snap of 2021.

Do not let your pets live outside in this weather. Never is it acceptable as Texas dogs are not use to this cold like they are up north. Don't be a tool, bring them inside!!

Happy Tongue Out Tuesday! 😛

Marshall got his second set of puppy vaccines so he's now ready to join a family under our foster-to-adopt program! He can join a family now and we'll set up a neuter appointment with our vet in a few months, all covered with our adoption fee.

Marshall is about 5 months old, is super sweet and playful, is confident but also a big baby, will probably be a large adult dog at roughly 100 lbs, and we're guessing he's a German Shepherd mix. He's crate trained and still learning to ring a bell to go outside potties when in the house. He's not too bad on a leash for a puppy just learning so we think he'll do great with some patience and training. He's good with all our pups and is curious about the cats but leaves them alone. We just dropped off Suki and Chip for their spay/neuters tomorrow and we've got Lucy and Marshall at the vet today. ❤️‍🩹

Marshall is getting another set of puppy vaccines so he'll now be available for pre-adoption under our foster-to-adopt program. 💉😃

Lucy was just adopted by a family but she's been vomiting through the day so we're going to make sure she doesn't have something serious going on. 🤮☹️

Gabe and Uri were adopted! 😍😍

We don't typically adopt out siblings together because of littermate syndrome but these sweet boys are getting the best of both worlds! One will be staying with the daughter at her home in College Station and one will stay with mom & dad in Salado but the boys will get to regularly see each other! We're hopeful this will be great for everyone and we're excited to see them be able to stay in touch! Happy trails to you sweet boys! 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

Happy adoption day Stetson! 🥳

Stetson has been waiting patiently for his happily ever after so we're thrilled to announce he's finally found his forever family! 😍 Stetson is one of THE BEST boys we've ever had so it was definitely worth the wait to see him find a wonderful home. We're so excited he has two fursiblings and the best parents to dote on him. Wishing this sweet boy and his new family only happy tales on happy trails! 🐾❤️🐾

Mariah and Wyatt ❤️❤️

These two pups came to us when they were about 5 months old. They were born into a feral colony, captured with their siblings, then held in an outdoor kennel for several months before we took them in. They came to us very scared, undersocialized and didn't know anything about living inside but to say they appreciate living in a home now is an understatement! They're going on a year old and have blossomed into loving pups who just want to be with their people enjoying all the comforts of a home. 🏡❤️

Mariah is incredibly loving and affectionate. She's very smart and wants to please her people but she can be possessive of her person if she doesn't have a strong leader to show her she has to share. She may do best as an only dog if adopters aren't savvy about integrating a pup who is trying to figure out her place in your pack. Mariah understands the rules and boundaries here at the ranch and does great with our pups but will occasionally still try to resource guard her person if she's cuddling and doesn't want to share.

Wyatt is a goofy, affectionate boy who may take time to warm up in a new home but he loves treats and chilling on the couch. Once he's comfortable, he loves to lean on you for snuggles and follow you around for treats. Wyatt is great with our pups and does well with the cats.

Cuteness level: Extreme! 😍

Noah is probably one of the smartest and cutest puppies I've ever worked with! He's fearless. He speaks his mind. He's observant. He's curious. The TV intrigues him and when I talk to him or make funny noises he tilts his head in the most adorable way to try and understand me. He plays well with our other pups and is confident enough to try and steal their toy but listens when they tell him no. He also seems to be catching on to basic commands in just a few hours of working with him. I'm super impressed with this little guy! 😃

Noah is around 3 months old and will be getting his 2nd set of puppy vaccines in about 2 weeks. Then he'll be available for pre-adoption under our foster-to-adopt program. Once he's neutered (covered with our adoption fee), he'll be officially adopted. Noah will need a confident and invested adopter to ensure he gets the training and stimulation he needs to be the best puppy citizen. Adopt Axel! 😎

Axel is one of our most overlooked gems! He's great with the pups at the ranch and loved by his friends at Paws and Play ! We've socialized Axel with at least 40 different pups and he's been great with everyone. He ignores our small Chihuahuas and plays with the puppies. He can be pesty with the cats but just wants to play. Axel is smart, treat and love motivated so will do amazing at anything you'd like to train him on. He's about 1.5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, on prevention and microchipped.

Welcome to the ranch Suki and Chip! 😍😍

We swapped out Rhett and Seth so we can get Suki and Chip to the vet this coming week for their spay/neuter. Then these two will be available for adoption! Suki is a super sweet girl, maybe 3 years old, a little shy with new people but gives gentle kisses. Chip is a happy, playful roughly 6 month old puppy. He's a silly, happy-go-lucky boy! Both are small/medium sized pups who would do great in just about any loving home.
