Last month Journey Home Rescue asked us to help with a TNR project where we knew there were also 5 kittens that needed to be trapped.

We had no foster space, and one little guy needed a medical foster. Thankfully, Kaitlyn Sullivan from The Calico Coalition stepped up for him.

Three out of the other 4 kittens were Siamese, so Austin Siamese Rescue, Inc. helped us out with those guys.

And the 7 adults we trapped were fixed through Human-Animal Support Coalition and returned.

That’s multiple rescues and organizations all playing a part in ONE situation!
No rescue has unlimited fosters, money, space or resources. It’s about working together, using the resources we each have, and getting more cats helped because of it.

July was HUGE for Snip & Tip in Dallas! 💙

In July, we partnered with Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center to get the word out about their incredible Service Request TNR Program, and the results speak for themselves.

By people submitting requests to us, We were able to organize trapping efforts by ZIP code and conduct targeted, consecutive trapping in neighborhoods that needed it most. Instead of trapping one colony here and there, we focused on entire areas to make a much bigger impact.
