Snip and Tip A Killeen based nonprofit spay and neuter assist program for community cats through TNR. To grow our public education outreach program.

Our main mission is turn the reactive issue of free roaming cats into a proactive community response through TNR, public education, and sterilization to those in need. Our vision is to be able to open our own clinic that provides veterinary services to those in need, a foster based network for incoming kittens especially those needing medical treatment and socialization. Assist in food to the needy who care for cats in the community and pets.

Welcome to Cat Mom Chronicles: The Deadbeat Dad Edition.

We took in 3 mama cats and 11 kittens just today. ELEVEN. You know who’s not helping? The tomcats who vanished faster than your ex after you said, “I’m late”.

These mamas are doing their best, but they need help—and so do we! We need to fix these moms to stop the cycle, because the dads clearly aren’t Venmo’ing child support or showing up with a bag of Meow Mix on the weekends.

Spay and neuter. Donate if you can. Vet bills, food, supplies—it all adds up, and every little bit helps these moms and their babies get the care they need.

Let’s break the cycle—because single motherhood was not in their five-year plan.

Where There Is A Will There is A Way! Our Super Star volunteer Christie Ibarra was alerted about kittens found in a BBQ smoker today and jumped into action! Christie secured the kittens and was able to lure feral mom in by placing the kittens at the end of the trap in a carrier. Mom and Babies are safe in our care thanks to Christie.

Please know: Relocation of community cats is an absolute last resort and should only be considered if a cat is in imminent danger. It is not a solution and is almost never in the cats' best interest

Community cats are bonded to their outdoor homes and relocation, even if done with proper protocol, can be ineffective and even dangerous for them.

Winnie’s momma feeds several cats we TNRd a few years ago and has 2 indoor pet kitties. Recently shes fallen on hard times and the last thing she needs are kittens.

This is where your donations go, to help create a proactive approach to our community cats, preventing breeding and helping prevent an issue from occuring.
