Tomorrow!
Farmer Jeanne, Farmer Aja and the animals will visit the Key West Public Library Branch - Monroe County this Saturday, 7/19 at 11am.
We've got a big week coming up with TWO special Summer Reading programs for kids and teens.
First up, at 11 am on Tuesday, Melody Tuschel, Monroe County's recycling coordinator, will be here to show us how to reduce food waste and other solid waste - and plant a milkweed to start your composting journey!
And on Saturday at 11 am, Farmer Jeanne from the County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm will be here with some furry, or scaly friends and share the story of how our jail became a sanctuary for these animals.
Everyone is welcome at library programs - you do not need to have a library card to attend.
Adults at our Summer Reading programs must be accompanied by a child. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver.
Please note that parking is limited in the lot behind the library (entrance off Elizabeth Street) and leave time to find on-street parking if necessary. The Library is a stop on the Duval Loop bus route.
