St Pete Memorial Day Weekend 2026

Incredible, meaningful, relaxing, and productive Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸

Started at The Hangar in St. Pete, where we had the absolute honor of meeting a young soldier and his family during his send-off celebration. Such a brave young man, preparing to defend our freedoms. We are incredibly fortunate to have men and women like him serving this country. He’s going to make a fine Marine.

Then off to the Mahaffey Theater to hear the Florida Orchestra perform Rhapsody in Blue along with a beautiful collection of patriotic classics. Absolutely loved it.

Today was slower and peaceful — wandering in and out of the mangroves at Midnight Pass, jumping waves in the Gulf, soaking up the salt air and sunshine.

And now… onto paint colors. 🎨

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. Here we go. It's been awhile since we've rode roller coasters. They are a whole lot of adrenaline fun. Bryan logged over 25,000 steps yesterday after we walked that Park. Bigger than what I remembered. Slept like a log after that.
