Turbo got to escape the boarding kennels for a few days and she was so happy!

She’s looking for a foster or adopter 🙏

Here’s what our volunteer has to say about her:

Sweet Turbo is an absolute Velcro dog bundle of love. She knows how to sit, shake, stay and lay down and very eager to learn lots of new commands. Car rides are something that should be part of her routine she loves to take in the scenery especially in the front seat. She looks at you with so much love in her eyes and offers even more love up physically. She loves chasing after a ball or playing a good round of tug-o-war. Has done good in a non fenced yard would just need someone to work with her recall a bit. If she isn’t snuggled up right next to you she’s playing with a fun chew toy or just taking a good snooze. Will need just a bit of retraining on her potty training (has peed in the house a couple times. Anyone that can give her the love and reassurance and trust she’s been so badly needing would be getting one of the best rescues I’ve personally met!

Turbo is good with other dogs but would recommend no small dogs. She’s a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly with food. She’s a little leery of men and is nervous in crowds. Turbo would do great in a quiet home. She’s lived with kids and loved them so much.

Rosemary is one of the last of her litter to be adopted

She’s a 10 week old Kelpie mix

Rosemary attended her second puppy yoga event and had a blast. She’s a very social girl and loves to play with other dogs (big and small). She’s crate trained and knows “sit.” She’s making progress with potty training. No accidents during the day but has a hard time holding it all night still.

She will be a medium to large sized dog (about 45 pounds). Rosemary will need to go to a home that will give her adequate exercise. She will make a great hiking or running partner. She would love another dog sibling! She does well with kids and is not shy around people.

Foster or Adopter Needed

Luna is a 6 month old German shepherd mix. She is losing her foster home at the end of this weekend

Here’s what her current foster has to say:
She is very sweet and loves cuddles. She is a little timid of small kids, but once she was around my youngest who is 8, she warmed up pretty easily. She gets along with other dogs but is a little timid and snappy at first introduction, but not vicious at all, she still a puppy. She doesn’t really care to be in crate. She rides in the car well and is over all a pretty relaxed dog. She does well on a leash. She is pretty clumsy but she’s not grown into her feet. She does like to chew and she really likes bones, I get them from a local butcher. She is scared of the vacuum and most loud noises, such as plastic bags. She has a thing with water. She will drink and drink and drink. She is very affectionate and smart. She knows how to sit and we have been working on the “lay down” command. She knows what “no” means. And to go outside I use the word “potty” and she understands.

Here’s what her foster has to say:
She has been a very sweet girl. Has been sleeping through the nights in her crate, doing very well at potty training and loves to play with other pup friends. Doesn’t seem bothered by cats and loves to eat!

Legion is ready for his forever home!

He’s a 1.5 year old mixed breed

Legion is such a good boy and just wants to please you! We’re guessing he’s a Shepherd mix with maybe Rotweiller or Cattle Dog. Your guess is as good as ours!

He’s good with other dogs with proper introduction. He’s been great with teenagers. Wouldn’t recommend cats or chickens or any other small animals.

He LOVES to play fetch. Knows all his basic commands — sit, down, wait, place. Has great recall. Has some e-collar training. He walks well on a leash and is doing pretty good with “heel.” He’s crate trained and potty trained.

Legion would love to go to a family who is active or take him on adventures. He loves to go on car rides. He’s gone to several stores and he has done great. He has great manners. He’s not super high energy but does love to play. If you want to lounge, he will lounge. If you want to walk, he’ll walk. He just wants to go wherever you go.

He needs to go to a home with a yard and someone who has experience with working dogs.

Legion is fixed and UTD on all his vaccines. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and a well trained dog, Legion is your boy!

Milo is a 10 week old pitbull mix; fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready to find his forever family and home. An extremely confident puppy who loves to tumble and play with his foster sister, chew his Nylabone, and lay in the sunshine. He’s a mellow little guy, but the sound of his kibble hitting the bowl always gets him up and moving! He does well in his kennel, is nearly potty trained, and picks up on new commands quickly. He loves walks, swimming in the river, and lounging on the beach in the sunshine. He’s great with other dogs, cats, and children. Milo is a treasure and will be a wonderful addition to any family!
