Today, on Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, we’re taking a moment to remember all the amazing souls who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge🌈

Being part of this industry for almost 40 years has been an incredible honor and a true gift. It has allowed us to meet, love, and care for so many wonderful pups and families. But with that privilege also comes the challenge of saying goodbye to the beloved souls who have touched our lives.

We are so incredibly honored to have had the chance to love each and every pup who has been shared with us. Whether they were part of our lives for one day or many years, they each left paw prints on our hearts and will always carry a special place in our Kim’s K-9 family.

Nothing will ever replace them, nor should it. Their place in our hearts is theirs forever, and we will always be grateful for the memories, the love, and the time we were lucky enough to share with them.

To all the families missing a beloved member of their family today, know that we’re thinking of you and remembering alongside you💙

We’re so excited to welcome this group and can’t wait to see how much they grow over the next few weeks!

One of our favorite parts of Puppy Kindergarten is getting to be a small part of so many puppies’ journeys. It’s such an honor to meet them when they’re little, help them build their foundations, and then watch them grow into the amazing dogs they become. We truly love getting to watch each and every one of them grow up!🥹

We’ve got three new faces joining our training crew! Help us give them a big welcome!💙

🐶 Ralphie, a Golden Retriever, is starting Bootcamp Option 1 to work on recall, reliable obedience, and building those important public manners.

🐶 Ginger, a Havapoo, is joining Bootcamp Option 3 to work on walking manners, general manners, recall, and learning to keep those paws to herself when she gets excited!

🐶 Ellie, a Golden Retriever, is starting our E-Collar Bootcamp to build reliable obedience and recall, improve her leash manners, and work on jumping.

We’re so excited to get to know these three and help them build the skills they need to be the very best versions of themselves!🐾

Our trainers just finished up the week at the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) conference! Those who know us, know we go every year, not only to continue furthering our education (cause like we always say, you can never know EVERYTHING about dog training), but also to make connections with other amazing people who share our passion: helping dogs and their owners build bonds that last a lifetime. It was such a great week of learning, and collaborating with other amazing trainers, including some other wonderful Michiganders! We’re excited to bring back these new ideas and continue improving the lives of your Kim’s K-9 companions!💙🐾

Luna is a newer face at the facility and she has already stolen the hearts of our staff with her sweet nature and undeniable charm. She’s relaxed, curious and happy to be around dog and human friends alike. She has been an absolute joy to get to know and is so fun to be around. Congratulations to our newest Day Training graduates: Benson, Mihla, Frisco, Maizy, and Lulu!🎓

These four pups have put in the work over the last few weeks and made so much progress along the way. It has been such a joy watching their skills grow, their confidence build, and their personalities shine through throughout their training.

Happy 1st Birthday to Remy!🎂

Remy started his journey with us in our Private Puppy Playground, and he has been such a joy to have around ever since! It has been so much fun getting to know this playful guy and watching his personality shine. Now he’s a regular in our Mighty Mediums room, where he is always ready to play, have fun, and make new friends. Remy has a way of bringing a little extra excitement wherever he goes!
