🐾 Pooper of the Week: Echo 🐾

Meet Echo — a 9-year-old Chocolate Lab/Pointer mix who knows how to enjoy the simple things in life. ❤️

She enjoys a leisurely walk now and then, but her favorite place to be is relaxing on the front screened-in porch on a beautiful summer afternoon.

And when it comes to treats? Echo has never met one she didn't like! Apparently, she's not a picky eater, and we can't blame her. 😂

A relaxing afternoon, a comfy spot, and a few good treats. Sounds like Echo has life figured out! 🐾

I'd just been holding some puppies before visiting Lola, and apparently, I brought all the evidence with me!

She wasted no time investigating where I'd been and who I'd been loving on.

And just when I thought the interrogation was over, she put her paw on my arm. ❤️

How could you not love moments like these?

🐾 Pooper of the Week: Bolin 🐾

Meet Bolin — a 4-year-old Greyhound with a special rescue story. ❤️

His racing name was Arkwild B Bolin, and his litter was named after characters from a Japanese anime series.

Bolin's racing career ended before it ever began when he broke his leg at just 7 months old. Thankfully, a wonderful rescue stepped in, got him the care he needed, and helped him through 6 months of recovery before he was ready to find his forever home.

Now Bolin gets to enjoy the life every dog deserves — a loving home, plenty of attention, and his favorite squeaky ball!

He may have never crossed a finish line, but we'd say he won the race that mattered most — finding his forever family. ❤️🐾

When we say we pay attention to the little things, we mean it! 🐸

David spotted this little guy tucked away in the grass during one of our pickups.

Our job requires us to pay close attention to what's happening in the yards we care for. Sometimes that means spotting something that needs attention. Other times, it means discovering a little visitor hiding in plain sight.

It's all in the details. 💚

🐾 Pooper of the Week: Titus 🐾

Meet Titus Maverick — an 8-year-old German Shepherd who is strong, stoic, and very serious about water.

His favorite toy is his blue ball, and his favorite thing to do is anything involving water. Running through it, swimming in it, playing in it — Titus is all in.

His name was already Titus when his family saved him from going to the Humane Society. They added Maverick because of how strong and stoic he was, and it fits him perfectly.

Big heart. Strong spirit. Happiest near water.

We see you, Titus Maverick. 🐾

One thing we’ve come to appreciate about working outside every day is how much there is to notice when you actually slow down and look.

We come across wildlife, flowers, butterflies, deer… and sometimes a spider web that makes us stop and say, “Okay, that is pretty incredible.” 🕸️

Not everything we find in a yard involves a p**p scoop. 😂
