I have been a dog trainer assisting the southeast Wi area for 7 years, holding both group classes and doing private in home training. Whether it's working with puppies from 8 weeks old or dogs 10 and older who had habits to unlearn, I can safely say it is never too early or too late to start working with your dog. All pups must have received their DHLPP/DA2PP and Bordetella vaccines, and all dogs
and pups over 6 months must have their up-to-date rabies vaccination information available at first class. Please inform me before class if your dog has any types of food allergies or intolerance, so we can make sure to avoid anything necessary. We use only high quality, meat based rewards that do not include any artificial flavors or preservatives. Everything that we feed to our dogs is important, and taking care to give them the most ideal diets lends to more physically and mentally stable dogs in several ways. I have absolutely no sponsors or financial stake guiding my advice in what anyone feeds their dog, only years of research and experience guiding hundreds and hundreds of dogs. Ask me about any food and I can give you a solid unbiased breakdown about whether or not it is ideal, less than ideal, or outright deceptive. I take pride in teaching you not only what to look for in and what to avoid in your dog's food, but also why these things are important! All training conducted is force free, and aversive devices like shock collars, prong collars, or choke chains are strictly prohibited. New clients who would like to surrender their punitive devices can happily trade them for discounts on your training package; based on the promise that you will take all future opportunities to change your dogs behavior by communicating with them in a way they understand, rather than through fear of punishment. If you would like to enroll multiple dogs in the same classes together there is a 50% discount for each dog after the first. Lessons conducted more than 10 miles from my location will have a $10 charge per 10 miles, per lesson, to account for gas and time (Generally applies to classes farther outside of Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie, southern Sturtevant/Racine area).
