So many dogs out there needing homes. Check this guy out.. Also check at Shoshone Pet Rescue... they have lots of dogs needing good homes too!! Lets get the babes where they belong... in a home, not a shelter.
4/21 Angels over Bruno...
So yesterday, when animal control followed up on the surrender plan for Bruno going to the shelter, he got a 1 day extension due to the shelter being closed.
We heard in the afternoon from someone who wanted more details. We met and did a walk with her two senior small dogs to see how everyone did together. Bruno handled it like a champ!
We are doing home visit this evening, after work, to make sure everyone can safely co exist in a smaller space successfully.
We will be providing training support along with a large crate and possibly a kennel run as tools to help get him settled safely and successfully. Thanks to the recent contributions from the community, we have these tools to lend for these dogs.
Once Bruno is settled, we are hoping to work with Companions on his brother Duke who has been sheltered for a month and is not fairing well with the shelter stress. We need to get him out of there to help him decompress.
So our work isnt done here, guys. We need to see this through for these two big boys.
We will keep you posted. And please let us know if youre able to foster Duke, instead.

We dont get it.
Over 5000 views of Brunos reel. Clear dog test video posted to help people see his sweet nature. NOT ONE person has stepped up to offer to foster for even a couple of weeks to get this boy into a better life.
What's up North Idaho?! Where are you for these animals?
While a small handful of people are trying to positively impact animal welfare, many are condoning their neighbor backyard breeding by buying dogs that should never have come into to this world, given the shelter crisis we are in. And rewarding those "greeders" with $$$ so they continue to perpetuate the cycle?! That makes you complicit and part of the problem.
We dont get it.
Bruno should NOT be going to the shelter today. But we cant do it alone.
Hope our community can rally to do far better than buying dogs from greeders at cabelas and the side of the road.
Good dogs are dying by the thousands, people.
Sad day...
