Dog Park for Kearny NJ Grassroots effort to have a Dog Park and additional green space for Kearny NJ The first dog park was opened in 1979. It about time Kearny joins the ranks.

A dog park is a great addition to any community. It provides dogs with a chance to exercise and socialize with other dogs as well as provide owners a place to do things with their pet they might otherwise not be able to do, especially if they live in a place with little
to no yard. Dog parks also provide a sense of community, a place to chat with neighbors.
