🚨 CHARACTER ALERTS: True Faith vs. Spiritual Hypocrisy 🚨
Beware of self-proclaimed Christians and those who boast of being "born again," yet maliciously speak lies, harbor jealousy, and actively try to destroy your reputation. True faith does not resort to character assassination, nor does a genuine believer seek to ruin another human being. The Bible speaks directly against this hypocrisy.
Proverbs 6:16-19 explicitly lists the things the Lord hates and considers an abomination, including "a lying tongue... a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren."Furthermore, God’s Word completely exposes the false piety of those who claim to be holy while acting out of envy.
1 John 4:20 states clearly: "If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?" If someone claims to love God and Jesus, but uses their tongue to tear down their fellow man, they are operating under a deceitful, demonic spirit in disguise.
As James 3:15 warns, this kind of bitter jealousy and selfish ambition "does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic."When faced with these malicious attacks, you do not need to defend yourself or match their malice.
Follow the ultimate example of Jesus Christ during His trial. As prophesied in Isaiah 53:7: "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter... so he opened not his mouth."Do not trade insults for insults.
Protect your peace, step back, and remain quiet.
Remember the absolute promise in Exodus 14:14: "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." And as Psalm 37:7 commands, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes."Your character will outlive their lies.
Stay silent before your accusers, stand firm in your faith, and watch God move powerfully on your behalf.
