Liver roan puppies are born pure white and they darken up for weeks and months. Pictured is AKC Champion "Sarge" as a puppy then 4 months old. I get a ton of questions regarding color so I hope this helps.

Feed kibble? No problem! However, YES YOU CAN add some fresh foods/treats and greatly increase the nutritional value of their bowl!!! Did you know chicken gizzards are extremely gelatinous? Yes, they are healthy for joints, hips, arthritis, healthy skin, coat etc. You can feed them raw or if your picky eater won’t get passed their texture, you can boil them until soft. Do NOT throw away the broth. Serve it to your dog. When you put it in the fridge it turns gelatinous like jello due to the collagen. Gizzards are also a powerhouse of B vitamins, zinc, and iron. I also bought chicken feet, chicken hearts (extremely healthy for the heart), and chicken drumstick knuckles. Other great foods are raw egg, sardines, sweet potato, and my absolute favorite is raw spirulina tabs. When your old dog gets arthritis, they need anti inflammatory foods, not just a joint supplement pill.

Last week we had to say goodbye to a once in a lifetime kind of dog. The perfect pup. Cali was our very first bred by AKC Champion and 100% trained and handled in the field by my son, Shane Veeder. Her and Shane had an unbreakabke bond. She also loved her baby brothers so much and they are missing her tremendously. We love you so much Cali girl❤️

What began as a plan to do a little dove hunting turned into something much bigger. Vanessa shares how Camo’s first Junior Hunter test revealed his natural talent, sparking her curiosity and passion for pointing dog training. Armed with YouTube and determination, she began training for Senior Hunter. There were lots of ups and downs along the way, and she eventually added more GSPs to the mix and became a breeder, hunt test judge, and field trial judge.

Spirulina benefits for dogs, backed up by science.
For many years, I've been adding Spirulina to puppy food for my litters as early as 4 weeks old. It's a superfood for dogs, a lot like humans. Spirulina reduces inflamation, improves digestion, fights cancer, boosts the immune system, reduces allergies later in life, and increases the immune response to vaccinations.
Algae is the #1 ingredient in the vitamins I require my puppy buyers to buy before they go home.
Here's more information about spirulina and a study. You must buy raw spirulina or the cancer fighting properties die (phycocyanin).
Throw tabs in their bowl of kibble or sprinkle some powder.
Start with 1 tab a day and work up to the recommend dose for your dogs weight.
I also give spirulina to my family everyday. It's possibly the worlds most nutrient dense food.
