The last few days have honestly stopped me in my tracks. ❤️

When I asked this community to support my little treat company, you did what you've always done — you showed up. You bought bags, you shared the post, and you sent words that meant more to me than I can say.

Over the years, together, we've helped more than 2,000 shelter pets into homes and raised just under $2 million for shelters and rescues. I never did any of it for credit. I did it because those dogs needed somebody — and you stood beside me every single time.

So here's my ask, from the same honest place: if we can keep this going, I can keep doing the work. A bag of treats is $11.99, made right here in Kansas City, and every single bag helps keep me in the fight for the homeless dogs of this city. And if a bag isn't in the cards right now, sharing this post with a dog lover helps more than you know.

No pressure at all. Just a grateful guy asking his community to keep standing with him — the way you always have. Thank you. 🐾

🐾 Meet SNIFF!🐾

217 days without a place to call home… and this handsome boy is still hoping his forever family will find him. ❤️

Sniff is a big sweetheart who is good with kids, other dogs, and possibly even cats! He recently made his way to NKC from Blue Springs, and we are determined to help his next chapter be the one that finally takes him home.

He's waited long enough. He deserves a family, a comfy bed, and someone to love him for the rest of his days.

Could Sniff be the missing piece to your family? ❤️

Gideon still needs our help. 💔

Thank you to everyone who donated and shared his story. We’re grateful for every person who has shown up for him. But we came up far short of our fundraising goal, and Gideon’s medical bills are expected to reach thousands of dollars.

Gideon was shot multiple times and needed immediate, lifesaving surgery. His care may continue as he recovers, and there are still unknowns about what treatment he’ll need and what the final cost will be. Every donation helps us cover the medical expenses he deserves to have taken care of.

If you’re able, please consider making a gift today—even a small one helps. If you can’t donate, sharing Gideon’s story can help us reach someone who can.

Please help us keep showing up for this sweet boy. He deserves the chance to heal and live a long, healthy life. ❤️🙏

Gideon is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. My heart is breaking for him. I’m not going to lie, I cried trying to share his story and you might do the same. 💔

Gideon was shot multiple times after entering someone else’s property. There are still many unknowns about what happened, who was responsible, and what investigation may be underway. I know this story may leave people angry and frustrated. For now, I’m asking that we keep our focus on Gideon and the care he needs.

When he was found, he was wearing a KC Pet Project tag, and he was rushed to the shelter for help. One bullet passed through his shoulder and out through his trachea. Another went through his chest and exited the side of his body. He needed immediate, lifesaving surgery.

The fact that Gideon is still here feels like a gift from God—a small miracle. When he came through the door, the medical team went straight to work. Their quick action saved his life, and I’m deeply grateful to the intake team and everyone in the veterinary clinic. These people show up and save lives every day.

Gideon may need more treatment as he continues to recover. We don’t yet have a medical fundraising goal because there are so many unknowns and moving pieces, but we know his care will cost thousands of dollars. If you’re able, please donate whatever you can. Every gift will help with his medical bills, and sharing his story helps, too.

Let’s surround Gideon with the support he needs for the long road ahead. ❤️

I’m begging for your financial assistance. Gideon deserves to live a long, healthy life, and we can help make that happen. Please donate by clicking the link below. 🙏

Can I ask you something? And please hear the heart behind it. ❤️

Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping a lot of dogs — and a lot of people who love them. More than 2,000 shelter pets into homes, and just under $2 million raised for shelters and rescues. I've never kept score. I did it because those dogs needed someone, and this community showed up with me every single time.

Now I'm asking for a little of that same love back — not because anyone owes me anything, but because this little company is how I keep doing the work.

If I've ever helped you, or a dog you love, the simplest way to support me is a bag of treats. $11.99, made right here in Kansas City, and every bag helps keep me in the fight for the homeless dogs of this city. Or share this post with a dog lover — that helps more than you know.

No pressure at all. Just gratitude, and one honest ask from a guy who has given this his whole heart. Thank you for being the kind of community that shows up. 🐾

Over 200 days ago, Mustang arrived at the shelter with her 14 puppies and three siblings. She watched every single one of them find a home. Yet somehow, she's still waiting for someone to choose her.

She didn’t do anything wrong. She was simply another victim of irresponsible ownership—too many dogs, uncontrolled breeding, and a situation she had absolutely no say in.

Mustang gave everything she had to her family.

She cared for her 14 puppies and watched as, one by one, they were chosen.

Then she watched the siblings she had grown up with leave, too.

Eventually, everyone Mustang came in with was gone.

And Mustang stayed behind.

Since then, she has watched even her kennel mates come and go. She has seen dogs arrive after her and leave before her.

And somehow, over 200 days later, Mustang is still waiting.

We don't understand why.

Because the dog who gave so much to her family is the one who has been left without a family of her own.

But Mustang hasn't given up.

There is still hope in her eyes every time someone walks by her kennel, as if she's wondering, “Could this finally be my person?”

She has watched everyone else get their second chance.

Now she deserves hers.

Please share Mustang. After watching everyone she loved walk out those doors, it's finally Mustang's turn to be the one leaving for home. 💔

💔 Doris’s surgery update

So far, we’ve raised just $210 of our $500 goal for Doris’s amputation surgery. Thank you to everyone who has shared her story and to those who have donated. We’re grateful for every bit of support.

We still need help covering Doris’s medical bill so she can get the surgery she needs and move toward her next chapter. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please share this post to help us reach more people.

Once she’s recovered, Doris will be ready for a foster home. A foster-to-adopt home would be a dream come true for this tiny girl. ❤️

There's something special about buying from a Kansas City company. 🐾

When you grab a bag of our treats — from one of the local shops carrying us all over town, or right from our website — your dollars don't disappear into some faraway warehouse. They stay right here in KC. They help a local company keep going, and they help keep me in the fight for the homeless dogs of this city.

That's what shopping local really means to me. It's not just a bag of treats. It's Kansas City taking care of its own — the dogs, the shops, and the people who love them.

So thank you for choosing local, KC. You make all of this possible. ❤️
