SevaDog Rescue SevaDog is a non-profit 501c3 organization specializing in rescuing the underdogs. Quality care, individual training plans, and a lifetime of support.

We're a licenced kennel, 501c3 non profit dog rescue for the last chance dogs out of options. We match adopters to compatible dogs and offer sanctuary for dogs who need a lifetime of support. We provide community spay/neuter, veterinary, and training support to keep families together. All of our dogs live throughout our property. We have a Pit Bull Palace, Land of the Littles, Mom and Pups suite,

club houses, big play yards, and our founder lives along side the dogs with her children providing around the clock care. We have a wonderful, small volunteer group who have been with us for years. Their dedication makes this refuge possible. The people who find their way here get as much as they give. Our center is a place of healing, acceptance, education, and inner work. There's no feeling sorry or excused behaviors due to the past. We live in the moment and look forward to each day. The past doesn't defy any being. We provide a home like environment full of enrichment and support for dogs with all backgrounds. We're known for rehabilitating fearful dogs due to domestic violence, neglect, puppy mills, hoarding cases, and dogs who need a retreat to work out their kinks and enjoy the zen den lifestyle while learning new skills.

After nearly a year at SévaDog, Milas been adopted!! 🎉

Mila came to us a wild fire cracker! She had no clue how to interact politely and had no manners. So she went to for socialization and training. Which turned her life around!

Mila learned new skills and during that time, her true self was revealed. And wow, what a wonderful dog! She is so incredibly smart and entertaining! But she had no interest. Until suddenly, multiple applications came in. She met a few people, and then we found the one! A lovely family fell in love with her. The young man of the family lost his dog, and that loss left a hole in his heart. He was looking for a new best friend. And he found her! He dedicated himself to learning how to train with her before adoption. Then she was finally ready to go home.

Mila has a doggie brother who loves her, a cat she was very polite to, and some goats in her new family! She did great with them all. We are so proud of her!

So far everything is going great. Mom said there’s something so special about a boy and his dog. Their bond is already becoming strong.

Send Mila all your good thoughts for a successful transition into her new life! She is so deserving.

Yay Mila!!

Happy Easter everyone!! Be safe and have fun! 🐣🐇🙏

Welcome Nala to the SévaDog family. Her story is heartbreaking…

As many of you know, our director, Mandy, and her husband, Ryan, own a dog boarding/daycare facility. Nala came for boarding and due to unfortunate circumstances, now needs to be transferred to SévaDog.

Here is her surrender letter…

About nine years ago, my brother Scott and his wife Nancy rescued a sweet soul named Nala. Nala wasn’t just a pet; she was part of the family, cherished and deeply loved. Not long after Nala’s adoption, life took a heartbreaking turn. Nancy suffered a major grand mal seizure, which led to a long road of medical treatment, rehab, and the need for full-time care. Scott, without hesitation, stepped up as her sole caregiver. It was a quiet kind of heroism.
As often happens with caregivers, Scott poured everything he had into Nancy’s well-being and, over the years, lost sight of his own. On March 2nd, 2024, my brother passed away at the age of 67. The official cause of death: self-neglect.

After Scott’s passing, Nancy’s health continued to decline, and she was eventually placed in assisted living. Through it all, Nala remained at their home — a quiet constant. The neighbors, kind and concerned, made sure she had food and got outside, but no one was in a position to take her in.

When the home finally sold, Nala was transported to Oregon, where she now lives . By some grace, she landed in a place where she is safe, cared for, and truly loved. Every time I speak to Nancy, she asks about Nala. She misses her terribly and wishes things were different. And I’m so grateful I can tell her the truth — that Nala is alive, thriving, and being looked after with care and kindness.

Now, we’re hoping to find Nala a permanent, loving home — one that matches the love she’s always known. If you feel moved by her story, or know someone who might be able to offer her the comfort and connection she so deserves, please reach out. Your generosity could mean everything to this dog who has already meant so much to so many.

Sincerely,
Nala’s Auntie

Please share Nala!! 😩🙏

Iris has found her new forever home with good friends of her parents!!!!!!! Such great news!

Courtesy post…Cane Corso needs a new home!

Iris’ current family has this to say about this beautiful girl…

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we need to rehome our sweet girl Iris. She is non AKC registered, full blood Cane Corso who will be 7 years old on July 31st.

She is kennel trained, and considers the kennel her safe space.

She is an absolute love, and wants to be as close to her people as possible. Unfortunately, she does not do well with other pets. She has been good with visiting children. We do not know how she would be with babies.

Iris loves to take hikes, car rides, and will do just about anything her people are up for.

Our biggest hope is that she goes to a family that adores her and dotes on her as much as we do.

First truck wash was a success!

Huge THANK YOU to our friend, Matt, who was our only volunteer!! And of course thank you, to my darling husband, and wonderful son, for always being down to help the doggies!!

We washed around 20 vehicles in total. Not bad for a team of 4! They usually have 10 people out there washing at a time. 😅

Thank you to EPUD for the opportunity. 😊

An adoption is in the air for Miss Mila! 🤩

We’ve had Mila for almost a year! She was saved from a high kill shelter, literally minutes before euthanasia, by our wonderful partners .

One of the first things Mila did when she met me, was bite my arm snarling, breaking the skin! However, she was just out of control playing. I knew it wasn’t aggression. We could work through this. She went from 0-100 in seconds. This wasn’t an adoptable dog…yet.

So, after we got to know her a bit better, we put her into an extensive training program. She thrived like we thought she would. She became the most playful, snuggly, obedient, and enjoyable dog. She needed someone to teach her how to control herself. Training can be miraculous for some dogs. She is still a cheeky monkey and likes to push boundaries, but she’s a staff favorite. 🥰

Finally she started getting adoption interest. 3 people in one weekend! One family seemed to be a great fit. But, they have chickens, a dog, and goats. We had to see how our girl would react. Ryan brought her over to the farm, and she did amazing! We were so proud of her!

So now her owners will come learn how to use her training skills. And once everyone’s confident, she will finally have a home of her very own! 🎉

This is what gives us hope and keeps us going!

Send all your good energy Miles way. She so deserves this to end in happen ever after!!

What is cuter than a Pit Bull in pajamas???! 😍

Miss Betty Boop is a SévaDog alum who was adopted many years ago. Her adoption was a miracle. Her dislike of dogs, and past dog fights, prior to coming to our rescue…didn’t exactly make her miss popular. But, we never give up. And the perfect person came along for her. Her dad absolutely adores her. And even dresses her up in pajamas. 🥰

It was so good to see her. And this is a reminder, there’s someone out there for everyone! Never. Give. Up. ♥️

Huge THANK YOU to Kristen, our community, and for bringing in over $19,000 in donations, in 2024!!!!

Kristen is the reason we did so well last year. She drives to anyone’s house who has cans and bottles to donate. She then takes them home, rebags them into our blue bags, then drives them to . All out of the kindness of her heart. ❤️ She even has a spread sheet with her regulars! She also volunteers her time to take care of our sanctuary dogs. Rain or shine, she always shows up.

It is so easy to support our rescue. Simply by donating your empties!

Kristen, we love you and are so grateful for your hard work! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 💕
