Neighborhood Alert: Coyote Sightings Near Eddy Street & Indian Hill

Hey neighbors—just a heads-up that there have been coyote sightings reported around Eddy Street and Indian Hill. Whether you spotted them yourself or saw it online, here’s what’s happening and how we can all stay safe and smart.

What’s Going On?

Coyotes Are Adapting to Our Backyards
Urban and suburban coyotes are thriving across North America, due to abundant food sources and few natural predators
In places like Indian Hill and nearby areas, sightings have become more common as development encroaches on their habitats

Why Are We Seeing Them Now?

Coyotes are more visible during hunting, mating, and dispersal periods—usually in winter and early spring

Seasonal changes like bare vegetation make them easier to spot

“They will grab a Small to medium size dog (10‑15 lbs) in stealth mode…” Even Cats!

🐾💔 Sweet Banks Needs a New Beginning 💔🐾

This is Banks — a 3-year-old neutered male pitty with the softest heart and the squishiest face you’ll ever meet. 💙 He’s been through a lot lately. His owner recently had to enter assisted living and, with a heavy heart, could no longer keep him.

Now Banks is looking for a new place to call home — a couch to nap on, a human to snuggle with, and a yard to zoom in (even if it's just in his dreams). He’s house-trained, gentle, and gives the most comforting head boops when you're feeling down. 🐶✨

He's been so brave through the changes, but he doesn’t understand why his human isn’t coming back. Watching him wait by the door each day is a reminder of how loyal and loving dogs like him truly are. 💔

Please share to help this sweet boy find the love he’s lost. Let’s give Banks the second chance he deserves. 🐾🏡

Tex is a 9-year-old neutered male Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. This sweet boy is looking for a forever home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by comfort, care, and companionship.

Tex is great with kids and has a calm, affectionate nature that makes him the perfect family dog. He’s the kind of buddy who will stick by your side through thick and thin, always ready for a cuddle or a quiet walk.

Sadly, Tex’s previous owner had to move and couldn’t take him along. Now, he’s searching for a place to retire—a cozy home where he can be someone’s best friend until the very end.

Tex is currently a bit overweight and will need a healthy diet, gentle exercise, and a vet check-up to ensure he stays happy and healthy.
