New week, new faces ❤️ Abby, Katie, Reggie and Finley all arrived over the weekend and they were excited to see their friends Clark, Jack and Rizzo! We enjoyed some pool time and playtime with the gang! Heading into a new week with some fresh faces❤️

It’s was a crazy weekend and crazy week so far so I have slacked on the pictures! We had some new arrivals over the weekend. Our buddy Cooper arrived for his summer vacation ❤️ We also had first time guest, Tessie arrive ! Both are here til Thursday 😊 We had a great weekend of play but the hot temperatures have cut the out door time down a lot! Two cool Doods have enjoyed their time with friends ❤️🐾

After having to post some sad tributes let’s put some smiles on everyone’s face! We had a good day with the pups today ❤️ We enjoyed the cooler temps and lots of time outside. Still the same crew here the last couple days but today Perla came by to get in some fetch time and join in on the fun!

We have one more tribute post to make this week and it is for the sweetest and most gentle giant💔 Rufus passed away about a month ago after a 6 month battle with cancer in his leg. He was such a warrior and kept his happy go lucky personality right up until the end .
He had the best parents! They did everything they could for him and to keep him happy and comfortable until it was time. Rufus loved to swim so they booked some swim time at a local place that provides an indoor pool for dogs ❤️ He was so happy. His mom would send me videos of him paddling away❤️ It made everyone happy to see him loving it!
We might have only watched Rufus a few times but he made a lasting impact on us. Just the sweetest boy❤️ We are friends with his mom so we got to see him from time to time at her business. She would bring Rufus in if she had to drop something off or check on things. We would immediately ask if Rufus was there or in the car if she was just running in for a minute . We would always go out to see him to get those wet and slobbery kisses!! That was his specialty!
He lived on a farm and had so many farm friends! Horses and Donkeys especially! He was so gentle with them and he enjoyed his walks around the farm with his mom and dad. He also had two little kitty sisters who he loved and protected ❤️ The 3 of them would walk the farm daily . What a wonderful life he had❤️
RIP Rufus💔 I’m sure you found a grassy pasture with a nice little lake to settled down by up at the Rainbow Bridge 🌈
Maybe even some kitties, horses and donkeys to hang with💔🌈🐾 See you on the other side big guy!

Max💔 16 years is a long and wonderful life buddy. We got word last week that Max passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was one tough little man❤️
Max was our client for 15 years. We saw him from playful energetic pup to the grumpy old man stage ❤️ When we first started watching him he loved to play and run with the other dogs. As time when on we realized he liked more one on one time and nap time 🤣 As you get older you like things at a slower pace … that was Max. He was always a good boy for us . He was so easy and so content with having his own suite and a bed or a couch. The simple things in life. Don’t get me wrong, he could still get fiesty in his later years ! He always looked grumpy when we would dress him up for holidays ! It made me always look forward to it 🤣 Just to see his face was priceless!
Oh Max… we’re going to miss you buddy! 16! That’s a great life to have with an amazing family that loved you so much! We are heartbroken for his family💔 Sending so much love and sympathy to the Farias family. Thanks for sharing Mr. Grumpy pants with us all these years!

A few weeks back we got word that one of the sweetest girls passed away. Sweet Olive 🤍 She lived a wonderful long life with her amazing parents.
Olive was in the group of some of our very first boarding clients . She fit in like she was a part of our family from day one! Dexter and Stoli took a liking to her immediately! They even let her hog the doggie pool🤣 As soon as we would take it out and fill it up , she was in it! Everyone else had to wait their turn🤣 She was always great with all the other guests… just a great dog!
Although we hadn’t had her stay the last few years , we always still got to see her when her mom and dad would post her on Facebook ❤️ They hadn’t been traveling much so we had to make sure we still checked in on her ❤️ once a Live Bark Love family member, always a family member!
Olive, we will miss you sweet girl! I know Dexter, Stoli and Luc had the doggie pool ready for you at the rainbow bridge! Splash away pretty girl 💔🐾🌈

We are so heartbroken to share that we lost a very loved family member last week💔 My Brother and his family lost their sweet boy Munson. He was with us just last week but had a medical emergency the evening he returned home 💔 He had a mass on his spleen that ruptured . I can’t believe he’s gone 😢 We know he waited for his family to return home so he could see them one last time … I know in my heart he did! He loved his family fiercely and would never leave without saying goodbye 💔 We are happy we got to spend time with him last week…. Moments we will cherish forever.
Munson, as you can see, was a BIG goofball! He could just sit there doing nothing and make you laugh … just the look on his face 🤣 He was also, sweet, loyal, loving , stubborn and a faithful companion.
When he came into our family he had a sister named Callie ,a boxer. That was his big sister…. He loved her so much. It might have taken her some time to adjust to him but once she did , they were inseparable. She loved him, how could you not love this big goober? Sadly, Callie passed away about 5 years ago 💔 He missed her 😢 He also seemed to like getting all the attention at home too ….big love bug!
When he would to stay with us he always loved hanging with his cousins. Dexter, Stoli , Luc, Jack and now Clark and Rizzo. He was more into the older crowd with Dex, Stoli and Luc but he tolerated the youngster’s foolishness 🤣 He would tell them when he had enough!
Munson…. Munsaloon….. Munny man… We will miss you tremendously, more than words can express. I’ll even miss your stubbornness! Even when you would not cooperate !Never thought I’d say that! I’ll miss your cuddles and your bulldog “zoomies” I would always tell him he was so fast 🤣 Even though he wasn’t ! He tried to keep up with the others , I always told him he did a good job keeping up and he would come sit next to me to rest . I’d give him a kiss on the head and tell him he was a good boy❤️ You were a good boy Munson. One of the best boys❤️We have so many memories to cherish and we will forever.
We are sending so much love to my brother, sister in law, niece and my nephew and his family . He had a wonderful life with all of you and he gave you so many wonderful memories and so much love…. So much💔

Fun weekend with a full
House!! River is back, he arrived Thursday for his week stay❤️ Maizy arrived Friday for 2 weeks! My parents dog Willow is here for a couple days❤️ Luna is loving her stay so far and is still with us until Friday 😊 Marley and Leo are adjusting well and doing great! They still have 11 days here with us! Busiest time of the year for us! 🐶☀️🐾❤️
