This month, we are highlighting one of our wonderful staff's pet

🐈Meet Flynn, our furry star of the month!

"Flynn is an extremely lovey boy with such a huge personality. He loves people, especially people who give him pats and pets. He very much enjoys when you pat him on the back, quite literally. When he’s excited the bottom of his tail will puff up and he’ll purr loudly, maybe love bite you. He is your typical tabby when it comes to trouble, but mostly when he wants attention. He’ll do all the things he knows (yes he definitely knows he extremely smart) what he shouldn’t be doing just so you’ll get up and chase him. His favorite naughty habit is trying to tip or open up his feeder, naturally his signal that he wants to be fed 500 times a day or else. He loves his little sister Xena, also loves to chase her around and annoy her like a typical brother. He goes by many nicknames but the most common is “bubbie,” he will run right over to you. He loves to sun bathe when he sneaks on the balcony with mom. He loves hallway time, giving people squinty eyes to communicate (as he only just came into his meow at four years old) & bird watching. His all time favorite thing to do though is be with mom, snuggling her leg in bed or on the couch, he is 1000% a mamas boy. He brings laughter and happiness to all that he meets and is incredibly sweet. We sometimes think he acts more like a dog than a cat. The best boy. "

Congrats to Flynn and his family for this well-deserved honor! 🐈🐾

Try these frozen treats for a fun way to keep your pup cool and hydrated this summer!

Mix the ingredients, pour into molds, and freeze for at least 4 hours. Serve as an occasional treat.

Always avoid sugar-free peanut butter or anything with artificial sweeteners like xylitol, which are toxic to dogs. If your pup has food allergies, check with us before introducing new treats.

🐈Meet Cassie, our furry star of the month!

"Cassie is almost 18 years old with the sass and attitude of an old lady, but the energy of a kitten! Her favorite activities include meowing in mom's face at 6am sharp, drinking out of every single unattended water cup in the house, and avoiding her 1 year old sister, Cleo. Cassie is usually the epitome of "look, don't touch", but once she warms up to you, she is the most cuddly, charming companion there is."

Congrats to Cassie and her family for this well-deserved honor! 🐈🐾

We're here to bust myths on car safety this summer.

MYTH: If there is a breeze and you keep your car window cracked your pet is safe in the car from heat related illness.
FACT: Car temperatures can still rapidly climb despite a breeze or windows being left open, resulting in heat stroke or even death. The safest option for your pet is to keep them with you in a cool air-conditioned space or leave them home to lounge safely!

Warmer weather is here! When walking your dog one of the best quick tips you can use is the 5 second rule. If the concrete is too hot to hold the back of your hand on for 5 seconds, it is too hot for their sensitive paws! Look into options like dog shoes or walking your dogs in cooler shaded areas with grass during the summer.
