Leo is clocked in and ready for rehab 💙🐾

Before getting started with his session, Leo spent some time enjoying laser therapy—a non-invasive treatment that can help reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing process.

Laser therapy is commonly used for pets recovering from injuries or surgery, as well as those managing arthritis and other chronic conditions. Best of all, most pets find it relaxing and comfortable!

May is Arthritis Awareness Month, and it is a good reminder that stiffness, limping, or slowing down should not always be brushed off as “just aging.” Arthritis can affect your pet’s comfort, mobility, and daily routine, but support is available.

At Sage Canine Rehab, we create personalized plans to help pets build strength, improve mobility, and feel more comfortable in their everyday lives.

If your pet is having trouble getting up, going up stairs, jumping, or seems stiff after resting, it may be time to schedule a rehab consultation. 🐾

Brownie was VERY excited for hydrotherapy 🤍✨

A lot of pets that don’t love bath time or water are actually surprisingly comfortable on the underwater treadmill! The water stays warm at around 90° and is usually filled to about knee height to help support their joints while they exercise. Add in lots of treats and encouragement throughout the session… and suddenly rehab becomes the best part of their day 🐾
