We had an amazing time at the Essex Memorial Day Parade on Saturday. We are a proud sponsor of the parade alongside Cornerstone Construction. Some highlights of our day included:

✨3yo Kismet with Owner Kaitlyn Henry and Trainer Kendall Sheean took on the parade like a champ! Kismet has only been under saddle for 90 days 😉!

✨ Aspen East’s Harlowe and Rachel Rackliff were absolutely show stopping this year in all of their decor!

✨Aurora Norris and mom Joanne stunned with their horse, Badger, showing off our beautiful western riding program

✨ Aspen East’s Franklin and Lil’Rae showed off their stuff in cart! They handled all the craziness of the parade with grace and were perfect for their kiddos

✨ Aspen East’s Rosie Mae and Ruthie were beyond gorgeous and loved being the center of the attention with other walkers and kids 🩵

Thank you to all of our barn helpers and especially our parents! The parade was hectic but our team handled it all with grace, and we’re excited for more!

Every farms worst nightmare is horses getting loose, let alone the loose horses deciding they needed to beat even more human in a race against clock! Tonight we will be on WPTZ/myNBC5 at 5:30 talking about our newly crowned race winners: Birdie, Hazel and Ladybird. We do want to take a moment to let everyone know this is not a normal occurrence at our farm and our very grateful to the help of our wonderful neighbors and barn staff for catching these minis, after they won the relay race!

Wasabi Week!!! Wasabi spent last week working with her owner/our trainer, Kendall! Wasabi brushed up on some of her jumping skills, and then later in the week worked on Bridleless work! We’re looking forward to an exciting summer with this mare 🩵
