The Jekyll Island Authorityโ€™s Georgia Sea Turtle Center is a hospital for sick and injured sea turtles. The Center is open to the general public and offers an interactive exhibit gallery and rehabilitation pavilion with several viewable sea turtle patients. Group rates and tours are available.

These female diamondback terrapins were struck by cars while trying to nest and they are currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital.

Nesting season runs now through July so keep an eye out for turtles crossing the Jekyll Island Causeway!
