Adoptable retired sled dog of the week:

Meet Hobo born at the kennel 5/21/13. Hobo has been an amazing lead dog throughout his career as a sled dog. Hobo gets along great with other dogs, male or female. Hobo always is looking forward to meet and greet with people. So he loves everyone, including children. Hobo is a very enthusiastic guy. He is always ready and willing to go for a run. Hobo would be great on small hikes or walks, or even as a jogging partner. Hobo is very, very food motivated, and he would be an easy, it's learner.... Especially if food was involved. If you know someone who would like to adopt an older sled dog or you are interested in hobo, please reach out to us at [email protected] or call the office at 603-545-4533

Adoptable sled dog of the week:

Meet Baby Ruth born on 7/25/2014 at the kennel. She spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Baby ruth is a super smart girl who can be a little shy at first. But once she gets to know you, she will roll over to get those belly rubs. Baby was very helpful in training a lot other sled dogs in her years. So, she is great with all other dogs, from puppies on up. Baby Ruth has quite the career as a lead dog. She is a super smart dog and learns very fast. Baby is good with children, but would recommend older children because of her initial shyness around people. If you know anyone looking to adopt an older sled dog or you are interested in baby Ruth herself. Please reach out to us at email: [email protected] or call the office: 603-545-4533

Adoptable sled dog of the week

Meet Slappy born at the kennel on 7/25/2015. Slappy loves everyone and is sweet and gentle with children. Slappy may be a bit older but she is still active. She wouldn't need a ton of exercise but would be great for walks or small hikes. She also is one who enjoys her relaxation time and sure would love a couch to land on at the end of the day. Slappy is great with other dogs. She is a quite dog, she really doesn't bark much at all. Slappy would be good in the home with children Or really anyone. She is easy going and would just love a home to retire in in her senior years. If you know anyone who is looking to adopt a dog like slappy, or you are interested, please contact us at [email protected] or call the office 603-545-4533

We are looking to get a dog exercise treadmill for our dogs. First, it would help our older dogs that no longer pull have a chance to get some exercise other than just a walk. This would also help in rehabilitation. If there happens to be any injuries, this would be a way to get the dogs back into physical fitness and ready to go again after recovery. This would also keep the pulling dogs in good shape throughout the summer season, when they don't get out on the sleds or carts. We are looking at a dog powered model so that they could choose the speed they want to go and they make the choice. We also made sure we picked one with a breaking system so that we can make sure that they are not overdoing it, or we can slow them down without having injury. This is the one we are looking at possibly getting. If you would like to donate to help us get one for the kennel, please click on the link below. Thank you 😊

Adoptable sled dog of the week:

Meet Cowboy born in 2017 he still has a lot to give. Cowboy is on the younger side of our adoptable dogs due to medical condition. He has perianal fistulas that need regular medical laser treatments and medications when they are flared up. Cowboy is a very loving dog who gets along with every other dog he meets, and every person he meets. He can be a little overexcited when meeting people so smaller children may get knocked down by his over exuberance. Cowboy is one of those dogs who likes to stick near his people. So has potential to be an off-leash dog with some training. He also does wonderful on car rides. He's been on many and always is up for a ride in the car. For more information on cowboy, or if you're interested in adopting, please contact us at: [email protected] or call the office 603-545-4533

Adoptable sled dog of the week.

Meet Praline born 6/4/2015 and is utd on her vaccines and is spayed. Praline is just a bit shy when you first meet her, But she is a super loving and caring dog. She is one of the most easy going dogs and is super gentle with children, she loves children! She gets along great with other male dogs, but can have some issues with some female dogs. Praline will flip over on her back and show you her tummy, so she can get belly rubs. She also knows to give her paw on command Praline was a lead dog, knows her commands and is super smart. She is looking for a retirement home, one with kids would be great for her. If you know of anyone looking for a retired sled dog, that would be perfect for praline. Please contact us at [email protected] or call the office at 603-545-4533

Adoptable, senior sled dog of the week:

Meet York he was born at the kennel 7/25/2015. York is a wonderful dog who is pretty much happy with any other dog he meets. We have used York to help train some of our up and coming yonger dogs. York is still currently working with the team on occasion, but it is his time to retire. He would be happy in a home with someone that would be willing to give him a little bit of exercise, as he is still active. He is older so he wouldn't need to go for runs but he would be happy with a nice walk or a small hike. If you or anyone you know would be interested in adopting York, please inquire at; [email protected] or call the office 603-545-4533
