The Joshua Fund Dog Rescue The Joshua Fund is a 501c3 Registered Non Profit Organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs from high-kill shelters throughout the United States.

We are an all volunteer, foster-based rescue. The Joshua Fund Dog Rescue needs your help! Our rescue operations have literally come to a halt. As a national rescue with numerous dogs in private foster homes around the United States, transporting dogs to NY for adoption has become a virtual impossibility. Caring for our existing dogs has drained our reserves and has severely hindered our ability to

rescue other dogs from high-kill shelters. PLEASE, consider making a donation so that we can continue saving lives!

This is what we accomplish together with grit and determination. This is why we turned our attention to Cleveland. This is why we rescue! Check out our boy Kimber. Saved from violent threats from the evil streets of Cleveland to become a happy, beautiful, ever grateful dog who made it. Add a little love and groceries and see the real dog rapidly emerge from skin, bones, blood infection, and filth. Kimber travels to his forever home next week to live the life he was always meant to have! Join us on the journey as we seek to help more dogs just like him. There is joy like no other in helping dogs like Kimber and one you certainly don’t want to miss! Special thank you to Flo, and the supportive TJF team, who accomplished this in just 2 months time. Our girl Lollipop is the queen of snuggles. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is curling up with her people and watching college football. She fits perfectly between mom and dad on the couch and will stay there as long as you let her.

Lollipop truly loves her humans. She has so much affection to give, and we honestly can’t believe she hasn’t found a family of her very own yet.

She’s the full package: sweet, calm, people-loving, and ready to be someone’s shadow in the best way.

I know, I know… with a name like Beast you might expect a tough guy — but surprise! I’m actually a 30-pound bundle of love who just wants belly rubs and cuddles. 😍

I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, and still young with plenty of playful energy. I’m great with kids, love other dogs, and haven’t met any cats yet (but I’m open to new friendships!).

The charming little gentleman of the Uber pups!

Elijah is the only boy in his litter — and he absolutely owns it. Confident, playful, and packed with personality, this sweet guy knows how to make himself the center of attention in the best way. He’ll chase toys with enthusiasm, wrestle with his sisters like it’s his job, and then settle right into your lap for the softest, sweetest snuggles, and did we mention, he has the best ears!!!

Elijah is a healthy, happy 4-month-old German Shepherd mix, growing into a loyal, attentive, and intelligent companion. He is deeply people-oriented and thrives on affection and praise. You can already see the makings of a boy who will form a strong, lifelong bond with his person.

Sweet Ella Rose is pure joy wrapped in fur!

Part of our group known as the Uber Puppies, Ella’s journey began when a compassionate Uber driver spotted her and her siblings wandering alone in Cleveland, Texas. Frightened, confused, and far too young to be on their own, they were rescued just in time—and that act of kindness changed everything. Today, Ella is thriving, safe, and learning what love feels like every single day.

Ella is about 4 months old and an absolute delight. She starts each day with a wagging tail and an open heart. She loves to chase toys, wrestle with her siblings, explore new things, and then curl up for gentle snuggles. She gives the softest little kisses and is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection.

Healthy, happy, and growing more confident by the day, Ella Rose is ready to find a family who will adore her for life. She will be the sunshine in the home of anyone lucky enough to welcome her.

Just like her siblings, Celia is one of “Uber Puppies,” rescued when an Uber driver spotted four tiny, frightened pups darting across a busy Cleveland, Texas street. That small moment of kindness changed everything — and gave Celia the chance to grow up safe, healthy, and deeply loved.

Celia Rose is the explorer of the group. She’s the first to check out a new sound, the first to initiate a game, and often the last pup to tire out. She’s got that classic German Shepherd mix confidence and cleverness — paired with a heart that loves deeply. After her adventures, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for cuddles and a cozy nap.

Amelia Rose is one a litter of puppies we have named the “Uber Puppies,” rescued after a kind Uber driver found her and her siblings scared and wandering the streets of Cleveland, Texas. Since coming to rescue, she has blossomed into the gentlest soul.

This sweet girl has a soft, calming spirit. She’ll happily play with her buddies, but her favorite place is close to you — head resting on your lap, soaking up every bit of love. Her trusting eyes and tender little heart have a way of melting yours instantly.

Introducing Beauty! 💕

This sweet girl has had a rough few months in the shelter, but she’s finally getting her chance to shine! Beauty is still a little unsure of her new surroundings, yet she gladly accepts gentle pets and treats — she just needs a bit of time and love to fully open up.

At only 18 months old and 45 pounds, Beauty has plenty of youthful energy to burn and can’t wait to stretch her legs and enjoy life outside a kennel. She’s heartworm negative and otherwise healthy, needing only a routine deworming and confirmation (or completion) of her spay before she’s ready for transport to her forever family.

Beauty’s best days are ahead of her, and we can’t wait to see her blossom! 🌸
